Just because Oprah asks, it doesn't always mean she shall receive.

Oprah just aired her highly anticipated in-depth interview with pop star Rihanna, and will be interviewing Olympic gold medalist Gabby Douglas this week.

Oprah Winfrey has interviewed almost every great celebrity at least once, but it doesn't seem like Oprah will ever get the chance to interview the woman who broke records being nominated in 10 Grammy categories, Lauryn Hill.

According to Oprah, she reached out to the "Ex-Factor" rapper/singer, but Ms. Hill politely declined.

When asked by a fan if she would ever interview Lauryn Hill, Oprah tweeted:

EXCLUSIVE: Pras Speaks On...lieve It!"

Lauryn Hill definitely has good reason to decline an interview with the queen of talk, because she's been at the center of a little controversy lately.

From pleading guilty to tax evasion, to her relationship with her two very famous exes Rohan Marley and Wyclef Jean, Lauryn Hill would have a lot to discuss with Oprah, but that won't happen as of now.

That asshole already did. At this rate, its wiser if she withdrew from the press altogether, it seems everytime she speaks, folks trip over each other to play the same old "she's crazy" record.

Its better for her to lay low, since she can't win for losing.

I think Lauryn has more important issues to deal with right now.It's very likely that she will be sentenced to prison in November eek unless she works out some kind of deal with Uncle Sam

Well that's a no-brainer...and not because it's Oprah. Anybody who might be under indictment from the Feds, well--- the last thing they need to be doing is run around flapping their trap publicly to provide evidence against them in court. That's common sense.

nod I don't see why this is news anyway. I don't know if its the fact that somebody turned down Oprah or not. However, when you consider how few interviews she's done in the last what 10 years, one shouldn't be surprised. I thought I was missing something when this tidbit of entertainment news was showing up all over. confused
