I'm seriously thinking about that second concert... I already have a hotel room...wouldn't be that big of a deal to add a second night... What I need is someone to remind me of how I can't afford it! lol

I love how you are ignoring the hater thread. LOL I think it is hilarious that people hate Madonna (and others) so vehemently and emphatically. I will cheerfully admit that I don't like all of her songs, but after thirty years she has a solid catalogue of more than good songs, some of which she will perform during this tour, and that has me really excited about seeing her for the first time. And I really enjoyed her music since I heard "Lucky Star" in the 80s. I've been catching up on albums she put out after the mid-nineties. Really enjoying some gems! wink Besides, one of my best friends, who has been to four Madonna tours says she never disappoints when it comes to putting on a live performance. Actually, he said that he was never disappointed when he saw her perform live. LOL I can't say "never disappoints" for anyone.

Oh geez... I'll rattle off a few. Swim, Ray of Light, Frozen, Human Nature, Sanctuary, Deeper and Deeper, Rain, Why Is It So Hard, and In This Life (well, just include the entire Erotica album! LOL). Hope we get some like that on this new one! wink

I had a feeling you would choose Why Is It So Hard or Words from Erotica for some reason, that one is really underrated. Swim stood out to me too when I first got Ray of Light.

I agree. Why Is It So Hard really connected with me, both lyrically and melodically when I heard it. I think it is highly underrated, although some think it is too obvious and simplistic for some reason. All depends on the ear of the beholder, I guess.

nod "Words" speaks for itself:

Words, they cut like a knife
Cut into my life
I don't want to hear your words
They always attack
Please take them all back
If they're yours I don't want anymore

You think you're so smart
You try to manipulate me
You try to humiliate with your words
You think you're so chic
You write me beautiful letters
You think you're so much better than me

But your actions speak louder than words
And they're only words, unless they're true
Your actions speak louder than promises
You're inclined to make and inclined to break

You think you're so shrewd
You try to bring me low
You try to gain control with your words

Friends they tried to warn me about you
He has good manners, he's so romantic
But he'll only make you blue
How can I explain to them
How could they know
I'm in love with your words
Your words

You think you're so sly
I caught you at your game
You will not bring me shame with your words

Too much blinding light
Your touch, I've grown tired of your words
Words, words
A linguistic form that can meaningfully be spoken in isolation
Conversation, expression, a promise, a sigh
In short, a lie
A message from heaven, a signal from hell
I give you my word I'll never tell
Language that is used in anger
Personal feelings signaling danger
A brief remark, an utterance, information
Don't mince words, don't be evasive
Speak your mind, be persuasive
A pledge, a commitment, communication, words...

(More, please, like this, Madonna, from you and your collaborators...)

wink I pre-ordered the iTunes version which includes another bonus remix (not listed above). So that's a total of 18 tracks.

I'm an "old school collector music-lover" and I strongly prefer CDs over audiofiles, which I dislike at all.

So I will go for a physical release, even if it means to lose a remix. smile

Exclusive details on Madonna’s “Girls Gone Wild” – Music & Video

Yesterday, website HitsDailyDouble posted a rumour that said VEVO would release a lyric video of Madonna’s new single “Girls Gone Wild”.

After all the gossip and doubt, Madonnarama can finally confirm that it’s true!

A VEVO spokesperson told Madonnarama…

As of right now, we are planning to premiere the lyric video to Madonna’s new single “Girls Gone Wild” tomorrow on VEVO

We can also give you a taste of what it’s like!

“Girls Gone Wild” opens up the way “Like a Prayer” (the album) closes: with an “Act of Contrition” spoken by Madonna.

The snippet included in the iHeartRadio MDNA megamix doesn’t really do the song justice.
The beat of this song is simply insane!
It’s the most danceable pop song you’ve ever heard!
We can expect the remixes to kill everything.

It’s all about a good girl wanting to have fun on the dance floor (“in the zone”) accepting her status of bad girl… and it’s a little autobiographical too: “I know good girls don’t misbehave, but I’m a bad girl anyway”.

Still, towards the end, Madonna whispers “Forgive me”…

A MadonnaTribe FirstBreaking News! In a last minute plan change, the Girls Gone Wild lyric video will not premiere tonight at midnight PST anymore.

The lyric video will be edited on a remix version of the single which is still being polished at the moment and we can expect that version to go with the lyric video that is now scheduled to be released next week.
