Despite some shitty performances that was totally worth watching. Expect record breaking ratings tomorrow.

Liked Bruce, Bruno and Chris. Alicia and Bonnie was disappointing. I don't want you to think like me. I just want you to think. | |

Liked Bruce, Bruno, Foo Fighters, Adele, JHud's tribute to Whitney, and Sir Paul's closing performance. Props to Glen Campbell for still bringing it despite his advanced age, but the rest was just meh.

LOL. She and Katy Perry really need to stop trying to be Gaga. "Get up off that grey line" | |

And all three of them didn't win jack tonight. Good. | |
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
How about they need to ALL stop trying to be like Madonna
YAY for ADELE... YAY YAY You deserve it! | |

My one to five star rating views on performances I actually saw:
Bruce: 3.5 stars Bruno: 4 stars Alicia/Bonnie: 2.5 stars Chris Brown: 1 star Jason & Kelly: 3.5 stars Foo Fighters: 4 stars The Beach Boys (I skipped Maroon 5 and Foster the People): 2 stars Paul McCartney's first performance: 2 stars (mainly because I had it in mute after Stevie) The Civil Wars: 4.5 stars (I was real impressed by their mini-performance) Katy Perry: 1 star Adele: 5 stars The Glenn Campbell tribute: 5 stars Tony & Carrie: 4 stars Jennifer: 5 stars Nicki: 0.5 stars
---- Had to change my rating for Bruce. I wasn't feeling his song. But he and the band put in some effort. Steven Van Zandt has to be fully bald by now! [Edited 2/12/12 20:43pm] | |

People are simply tired of the bullshit, antics and tryna sell sex... People just want raw talent and good music. | |

I almost didn't even know Gaga was attending... I was kinda shocked to see her at the event tonight. | |

LOL blue hair and outlandish, wacky outfits equals Madonna? I don't see it. But I'm very happy for Adele. "Get up off that grey line" | |

Jennifer and Adele clearly had the best performances. Bruno Mars was good too.
Everybody else. Whatever. | |

I don't know what Katy was trying to be but it wasn't no damn Madonna... | |

You can say that again...

Yup. They need to give it a rest with the gimmicks. I'm glad they walked away empty handed. Prince, in you I found a kindred spirit...Rest In Paradise. | |

Pretty much... I kept thinking "Gaga's gonna be pissed." They already don't like each other. | |
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
They don't really have things to say so they have to do gimmicks. People are gonna get tired of them if they haven't already though. Katy ain't gonna get her number-one especially with her performance. I don't care how many times her label buys her position. Rihanna was a non-factor and so was Chris and Nicki. | |

With todays media sensitivity and ambiguous censorship, I cannot say how I feel about this comment without it being somewhat libellous, so here's a few emoticons instead! - [Edited 2/12/12 20:53pm] Tried many flavours - but sooner or later, always go back to the Purple Kool-aid!

Didn't catch much of the show except Glen Cambell, straight up pro as always. Saw a little of Ms. Hudson's performance and missed Chaka's tribute. Given Timmy's rating I didn't miss much but I don't the Grammy's have shown much in 25 years. | |
