I havent yet said anything about Whitney in this thread since learning of her death.. I can't really put in to words what i felt last night upon hearing the news... I grew up in a household with a sister who sings and Whitney's music was a big part of my childhood just like Prince, Mike, Janet and Madonna and i now feel really weird today for some reason... I have no words, completely gutted! My Nippy is gone. We all loved her so. She had so much to look forward to and we were planning and all organized to trend #WhitneyHoustonTopDiva on Saturday. We are all so very worried for Krissi, she loved her mom so much and Whitney loved her.

She said she was more than my mom, she was my provider, my protector and my best friend. I will never forget that tweet Krissi sent out last year.

No time for arguing, just so sad. Sleep Nippy! Sleep! finally you are at rest. I hate that her entourage was a collective bowl of inadequate folks.

Please.... I dont see what the issue is...not EVERYONE in the galaxy wants to see the usual go run to Beyonce for a tribute. I dont see the problem in exactly taking the time to find other vocalists who have the vocals to belt Whitney songs... something Beyonce does not have... if you rather see her give tribute fine but dont bash others for giving their opinion on picking another singer....

Kristina will be ok. She's stressed, probably elevated blood pressure aggravated by being up all night and dehydrated.

They'll give her an IV and put her to sleep.

She just had a baby. She doesn't need to be a part of any tribute. Besides, like MJ said, Chaka and Jennifer are the perfect choices because vocally they are better equipped to handle Nippy's songs. I don't care how much some of you worship Beyonce, vocally, she is simply not in the same league as Nippy was. On her best day, she's not even close.
