Love Madonna, loved the halftime show, but I gotta say, I think she lip sync'd the entire show. I watched it three times and I can honestly not find a time where it looks like she was singing live. Sometimes she would even move the mic away from her mouth before the note/vocal had ended. Vogue you could tell was lip sync'd to the album version. I wonder if she did a pre-recorded rendering of Like A Prayer and lip synced to that.

She's suppose to a professional entertainer, back in the day if she had turned in a lame performance infront of a Apollo, Regal, Metro audience she would have been reduced to tears.

To be fair, she was OK. It was obvious the jetters got the best of Madonna and she was never able to shack them. Though her supporting cast really did helped to smooth out her off performance. It happens .................

Music aside, people like me could never argue with the quality of her videos or her sharp persona. The new video and Superbowl performance are sloppy and by the numbers, and maybe even out of touch and cheesy in a non clever or ironic manner. Maybe it comes with age, but this is unlike her.

Madonna has begun to just go through the motions. It's one thing to be the cool grandma, like Betty White, but it's another to be the out of touch midlife crisis grandma. She is this close to start becoming a parody of herself. She is starting to resemble something we would see while flipping through the channels on Telemundo or Siempre in Domingo.

overall: decent, competent; Madonna gave what she does best: an over-the-top dance/pop show, no more and no less; probably the "best" of the dance/pop performances of the Superbowl, but nowhere as good as the "rock" shows (Stones, Prince, etc)

100% all lip-synched!!! As she always does and has - and where are those from last week claiming this woman never lip synchs???

The 30-something crowd I was with said she was super slow and were cracking up that she tripped and almost fell - FAIL!

The best part was the stage and effects that were very good and quite frankly incredible at times

I agree that Madonna´s performance was better, but let´s keep in mind that MJ´s concert was during daylight, so he couldnt take advantage of all those stage lights. After watching This is It DVD, I keep on guessing how a MJ Halftime show would have been today...

I give it a 6 out of 10. The stage set up was good, but the rest was very average. Her new song sucks bad. I did like the beginning with Vogue, but the rest was so-so.

MJ has other talents than Madonna, but both are entertainers mostly to me. Madonna can do things MJ can't do, and MJ can do stuff Madonna can't do.. don't think MJ is more talented than Madonna, or Madonna more talented than MJ.
