It aired on TV in a couple of countries in Japan. He performed
the HIStory medley that he did during the 1995 VMAs Dangerous (a different mix) You Are Not Alone Earth Song "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world."

Co-sign.
Moving on. You know, I really wish we could've seen him perform Thriller during the Thriller era. I would've loved to see how he'd perform it during its peak. Didn't he rehearse it during the Victory Tour rehearsals but scrapped it because he wasn't satisfied with the sound of it? Since he recorded everything (Nocturne Productions) I'm sure footage is lounging around.

photoshop. The media like to whiten those kids up
If that's the case, mate..you should know of a little thing called photoshop..the media likes to whiten those kids up whenever they publish a picture of them. I've seen unedited photos of those children, and they're actaully way darker than the average white child. The salvation of man is through love and in love. - Dr. V. Frankl

sorry for jumping to conclusions, lol usually when people ask those questions they are trying to stir up something. and in some photos the kids are lighter but then there are photos like the one i posted where they look much darker, adult michael was relatively light skinned, as is latoya and janet.. there mother is also white, i have a mixed friend who is very light, and you wouldnt think she was mixed, shes about blankets color.
i guess its just heredity, lol

Fans like you really crack me up! Didn't you complain about how you cannot have MJ discussion anywhere on this website because they all get locked so fast, as if you have something serious to discuss? And then, what, you go to MJ sticky to discuss why MJ's kids are so pale?? Serious music discussion my ass...

so someone can post a picture of his kids, but we cant discuss them because theyre non music related.. interesting... Who says you can't? I just said people like you crack me up. I'm not a mod you know?
So let me get this straight, you NEVER even tried to start a decent music-related MJ discussion on this sticky, but just decided to complain about how you cannot have MJ discussion anywhere here as if you already KNEW you couldn't have a sane discussion on the sticky ? Wow.

I think the only complaining ive done related to mj discussion(that i can remember, if you can find otherwise then i must have forgotten) was in regards to the dr prince and mr jackson interview, which i personally felt belonged in the prince music and more. And maybe i said something somewhere else about how the mods are too quick to lock a thread if even a slight hint of his name is brought up, which again was in regards to the documentary.
I merely decided to take a gander at this thread, found an interesting picture and decided to comment on it [Edited 1/7/12 23:01pm] Bogey and Bacall, peanut butter and jelly, Wall being on fucking point, is "classic" dipshit. Yeah, I already sensed that you don't really give a damn about MJ's music or actually care for serious discussion. I'm pretty sure most other people care more about celebrity gossip than actual art. Since you don't really remember little things you said here and there, let's just look at the most recent thread that was locked. I think it may help you understand my point. http://prince.org/msg/7/373976 Look who started to be a immature drama-queen in this most recently locked MJ related thread by saying "omg so many MJ fans are gonna get defensive of their savior waa waa waa..." I honestly don't think it's because people are sick of MJ that they need to lock the threads up. It's people like you and that ugly guy/girl whatever flaming other fans by starting to say things that have nothing to do with their musical career, and because of that, the thread will eventually turn into a joke.
Of all people on org, I don't think you should ever be the one to claim "leave this Prince thread that's slightly related to MJ unlocked!", is all I'm saying. But hey, like I said I'm not a mod, so do whatever you want I guess. The irony keeps me entertained.

Nope. THe Jehovas Witnesses were giving him grief over Thriller (the song) threatening to boot him out. By the time the Bad tour rolled round, he'd left that wacky cult and was free to perform it.

While i'm on that, how open would you be to seeing a CGI MJ?
| |
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
That's what I thought was going to happen eventually, back in 2010. I was hoping a This Is It concert or something would be created with Pixar or DreamWorks-style animation.
And to answer your question: I would LOVE that, especially if the movie/show would look as realistic as the new film "Adventures of TinTin," for example. "You put water into a cup, it becomes the cup...Now water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend." - Bruce Lee

Yes! Although MJ was one of the most attractive singers in the '80s, of course .... I still can not get over the fact that he passed so much in terms of appearance in the last 20 years. But I think that in the years 1980-83, he looked the best, a little later he looked unnatural and unisex. I like him more when he looked like the guy, after all.
