This aired on tv? I watched the whole thing on Youtube but I noticed he didn't really perform. Most were just small snippets and a few full songs

It aired on TV in a couple of countries in Japan. He performed

Moving on. You know, I really wish we could've seen him perform Thriller during the Thriller era. I would've loved to see how he'd perform it during its peak. Didn't he rehearse it during the Victory Tour rehearsals but scrapped it because he wasn't satisfied with the sound of it? Since he recorded everything (Nocturne Productions) I'm sure footage is lounging around.

Does anyone know the official certifications of this compilation yet?

3x platinum in the U.S., but it should be certified 4x platinum.

Talking about he'll only release them if Mother asks him to. She's not about to beg him for 3 songs he did with MJ while Mother herself probably has WAY MORE than that sitting on shelves. The nerve of him...Again, didn't Will and MJ explain that Will does NOT have the vocals from the records (to prevent leaks)?

I agree!!! Will is showing his ass. Pompous ass ho.

If that's the case, mate..you should know of a little thing called photoshop..the media likes to whiten those kids up whenever they publish a picture of them. I've seen unedited photos of those children, and they're actaully way darker than the average white child.

sorry for jumping to conclusions, lol usually when people ask those questions they are trying to stir up something.

and in some photos the kids are lighter but then there are photos like the one i posted where they look much darker, adult michael was relatively light skinned, as is latoya and janet.. there mother is also white, i have a mixed friend who is very light, and you wouldnt think she was mixed, shes about blankets color.

i guess its just heredity, lol

Fans like you really crack me up! Didn't you complain about how you cannot have MJ discussion anywhere on this website because they all get locked so fast, as if you have something serious to discuss? And then, what, you go to MJ sticky to discuss why MJ's kids are so pale?? lol Serious music discussion my ass...

so someone can post a picture of his kids, but we cant discuss them because theyre non music related.. interesting...

edit: i didnt wake up this morning and say to myself: hrmph i want to go on the MJ sticky and start a discussion about his kids. I constantly see luv4u telling us to go to the MJ sticky so i thought it would be interesting to see what goes down here. i then saw the picture and was curious.

you people are very on edge around here

Who says you can't? I just said people like you crack me up. I'm not a mod you know?

So let me get this straight, you NEVER even tried to start a decent music-related MJ discussion on this sticky, but just decided to complain about how you cannot have MJ discussion anywhere here as if you already KNEW you couldn't have a sane discussion on the sticky lol ? Wow.

I think the only complaining ive done related to mj discussion(that i can remember, if you can find otherwise then i must have forgotten) was in regards to the dr prince and mr jackson interview, which i personally felt belonged in the prince music and more. And maybe i said something somewhere else about how the mods are too quick to lock a thread if even a slight hint of his name is brought up, which again was in regards to the documentary.

I'll be honest, i dont care much to talk about his music nor have i ever claimed thats what i want to do.

I merely decided to take a gander at this thread, found an interesting picture and decided to comment on it

its clear you're having a rough time understanding what im saying, and i apologize

Yeah, I already sensed that you don't really give a damn about MJ's music or actually care for serious discussion. I'm pretty sure most other people care more about celebrity gossip than actual art.

Since you don't really remember little things you said here and there, let's just look at the most recent thread that was locked. I think it may help you understand my point.

http://prince.org/msg/7/373976

Look who started to be a immature drama-queen in this most recently locked MJ related thread by saying "omg so many MJ fans are gonna get defensive of their savior waa waa waa..."

I honestly don't think it's because people are sick of MJ that they need to lock the threads up. It's people like you and that ugly guy/girl whatever flaming other fans by starting to say things that have nothing to do with their musical career, and because of that, the thread will eventually turn into a joke.

Of all people on org, I don't think you should ever be the one to claim "leave this Prince thread that's slightly related to MJ unlocked!", is all I'm saying. But hey, like I said I'm not a mod, so do whatever you want I guess. The irony keeps me entertained.

Nope. THe Jehovas Witnesses were giving him grief over Thriller (the song) threatening to boot him out. By the time the Bad tour rolled round, he'd left that wacky cult and was free to perform it.

Being that I'm not a B.E.P. fan, I'm not sure how good the songs will be, but he should just release them. But given the half-assed way they assembled the MICHAEL album, I can't blame Will for not wanting his songs to be a part of it. If nothing else, the Will.i.am songs probably have more hit potential than most other songs MJ left behind

The Will.I.Am songs will be the best songs we haven't heard yet. They will be hits. That's a confident guess.

Agreed.

That's what I thought was going to happen eventually, back in 2010. I was hoping a This Is It concert or something would be created with Pixar or DreamWorks-style animation.

And to answer your question: I would LOVE that, especially if the movie/show would look as realistic as the new film "Adventures of TinTin," for example.

Yes! lol

Although MJ was one of the most attractive singers in the '80s, of course ....

I still can not get over the fact that he passed so much in terms of appearance in the last 20 years. But I think that in the years 1980-83, he looked the best, a little later he looked unnatural and unisex. boxed

I like him more when he looked like the guy, after all.

My favorite looks - 1979-1984
My favorite music - 1987-1995
Unfortunately, not the same! lol
