So do I. I swear singer Mario is the spitting image of Edmound Sylvers.

I find it interesting that of the two BIG "bubblegum soul" hits they had that Leon dug this one over Boogie Fever. In retrospect I can see why lol
I now have the hunch to post "High School Dance". That track's FUNKY as hell!

"High School Dance" was a fun song. So was "Cotton Candy".
Seeing that episode of "Unsung" really brought back some good memories of The Sylvers. Let's not also forget the track "Don't Stop, Get Off".

YAAAAS for that Dont Stop Get Off...no one EVER talks about that hot ass jam. I have the disco mix and the regular version...I dont know which one I like more..the bass on the extended mix is hot but they leave out the "at the concert!" part. Straight Jacket Funk Affair

I remember Foster was saying that he was taking bass lessons from Bootsy.. so maybe the influence of P-Funk was the seed for that song. It sounded like it to me when I first heard it back then.
You're right..that extended mix is slammin'.

I like that song. They play it on the oldies station from time to time and its jammin'. But damn Leon's teefus is jacked up. I'M NOT SAYING YOU'RE UGLY. YOU JUST HAVE BAD LUCK WHEN IT COMES TO MIRRORS AND SUNLIGHT!
