When I have heard Jason Malachi songs they have always stuck out to my ear as being too thin in the timber of his voice - michael's voice has depth to it, there is a fullness in his voice that can't be matched.

To me "Let Me Let Go" sounds exactly like MJ, only he's doing a half-ass job on vocals because obviously it's a demo and demo vocals don't really matter. Plus the lyrics and the style of the song, that's a Michael Jackson record, all over imo. I think the whole Malachi thing was some stunt MJ pulled for whatever reason. Maybe he wanted to see how people would take to his work, if it appeared that it was coming from a completely different artist, so they wouldn't approach it with their own preconceived notions and biases about him specifically? Who knows.

"Monster" sounds like a completely different guy and it's odd to me that a lot of MJ fans buy that that's actually MJ.

We had members of Michael's family saying "the truth will come out in a week" and then nothing.

You had fans claiming the Cascio's had film footage of MJ working on the tracks and that would be released - and then nothing.

The debate will continue, both sides will be adamant they are right, and it won't be resolved. The only people debating it is the fan community, the general public at large aren't even aware of the issue or that there are new songs for that matter.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, at maybe one day someone will be proven right. I hope no matter what side of the fence that is, people will be big enough to say "I was wrong".

Either way it doesn't make you less or more of a fan in my eyes.
