I am so certain that the Cascio tracks are fakes that I don't even bother hunting down the leaks anymore. I haven't heard Soldier Boy or Stay or Water. I couldn't even mustle up the enthusiasm to search on Youtube for them. What's the point??

One things for sure, if Sony insist on using more Cascio tracks on the next release I think they'll have an epic flop on their hands. I know "Michael" was hardly a blockbuster seller, but the more they pull shit like this, the more people will lose interest. I'm certainly not supporting any album with Cascio tracks on it.

So 2 thoughts:

1) How come all the people that supposedly came forward supporting it WAS Michael's voice

INCLUDING Bruce are never asked about it? I mean clearly the guy who sang "Breaking News" isn't the same vocalist who recorded TWYMMF. The only possible way they all "said it was Michael" was if they played them the clips of the songs with the most possible samples of MJ's voice in each of the tracks. And even then, surely one of these people close to Michael professionally would have called BS, unless they were paid for their silence.

2) I got the second edition of "Dancing The Dream" - and don't understand why they merely changed the cover. I have 2 copies of the original edition from the early 90s, but just curious, why the cover swap? Anyone know?

If there will be another Q&A with Bruce Swedien on a gear forum or something like that, I will ask him about it. He might not answer it though.

My guess is that they are contractually obliged not to comment on it. Especially if they have committed themselves to the project in long term, i.e. doing some work on the next posthumous albums as well. You'd think Lenny Kravitz would have said something by now about it - his initial response simply confirmed that Michael sang on the song he did, but I think his silence about the Cascio tracks said enough of his view on them.

i remember the morning it was put online , and i listend to it ( the preview i found doubtfull) but the full version made me scratch my ears and i was like this doensnt sound like him at al. so then i logged in on the org and there where like 5 pages of negative responses .

Honestly I'm still a bit confused. The voice doesn't sound like MJ at all...but when I watched the Oprah interview with Cascio family I wanted to believe them. Maybe because everyone around Michael seemed so vicious and this family seemed like they were one of the very few people who were around MJ AFTER the 2005 trial...so that must mean Michael at least trusted them...I don't know. If Cascio family were all lying, Teddy Riley's lying, Bruce Swedian and Howard Weitzman are all lying..what exactly are they lying for? There seem to be enough legit MJ tracks for new albums...? Why do they need to put these filler fake sounding songs in the new album? And no doubt Sony is only trying to make as much money as possible off of the new albums...Then why would they put some obvious fake sounding songs that would definitely make a lot of fans not buy it?

I don't get this either, but it's impossible to think that Mike's voice would have changed so much We've heard him on TII and he still sounded like himself. Maybe Sony doesn't have access to many of his songs, who knows?

I think MJ was offered some tracks from this family, but he didn't record anything , you can hear Mj on VERY small parts of Keep your head up but that was it...he didn't finish anything , they had to hire a talentless imposter to the finish the vocals and fool the public..........
