Into The Night! Benny Mardones! One of the Most Romantic Songs of All Time! Although I know this song has been posted before, I think it deserves re-posting. I am really feeling it tonight, just as I did as a teen. It is IMO one of the most romantic songs of all time and I still want Benny to carry me away into the night!

Fabulous track!!! I remember around 1986 or so, Z100 in New York was playing this in heavy rotation. I thought it was a new track, turned out to be about 4 or 5 years old by then. I was surprised they gave so much air to a song that old. MY HOW RADIO HAS CHANGED!!!

I love it. For years I thought it was Hall and Oates. Andy is a four letter word.

I never get tired of this song. Glad Benny cleaned up his act and he is still performing. That's funny that you thought it was Hall & Oates (another great group). Sigh, they just don't make 'em like that anymore... "Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything." --Plato

You know when this song came out I was drawn to it I did like it. Now I can't listen to it when I listen to the lyrics it sounds like he advocating being sexually attracted to a young girl.
"..She's just sixteen years old ...leave her alone they say....separated by fools...who don't know what love is yet..."
The older I get I take things more literally now.

Benny KILLED it! The passion in his voice is incomparable. And to think that the lyrics are so risque. "Get up off that grey line"

His original version of this is better. Great song.
