Let's be fair, Rolling Stone does marvelous political reporting. Their exclusive story on the use on Psy-ops on Senators was mind blowing.
Matt Taibbi, what about Matt Taibbi! I know that's not the topic...lol
And also be honest, if they didn't do Bieber do you think they would sell as many mags? All you others say Hell Yea!! |

You like to play pin the tail on Timmy anyways.
I stand guilty as charged.

Is "The Rolling Stone Magazine" relevant as in years past? No, not really. |

@their political coverage and all of that: maybe they need a separate magazine for that. Same for the tits and ass they always have on their covers. [Edited 2/28/11 16:36pm] |

Its hilarious though because they hand out five stars to every band like Linkin Park and Arcade Fire etc....so they now blame them for the shit rock thats out there??? stop giving it five stars then, i mean i can name plenty of the top of my head but they are by artists that rolling stone would call old and over in their reviews...so like U said Fuck em.
Always sucking dick then get mad when they call themselves reviewing the music scene. They ain't nothing but fucking posers.
Rolling Stone = one good BM with a lot of pretty pictures of ugly people. |

Oh, naw ! I wouldn't go back that far Timmy. When was Janet Jackson on the cover with her man covering her breast? A lil after that, things started to change. |

People still read Rolling Stone??? Sniveling, insideous, weasels parading as rock journalists. As Timmy said...hypocritical a'holes.
I've said it before I say it again...they just need to fade away. They wouldn't know a rock or pop hit if it came and bit them in the behind. They ignore the black music scene more often than not anyways.... |

I don't necessarily agree with your pics but you are the first one to actually offer some songs that you think deserve to be among the top 25 of the year. Everyone else is just bitching about how shitty Rolling Stone is. I think they have a point and the state of rock music is appalling.
Thanks! I think there is a lot of great music being produced in every genre if you look hard enough. I know that I've barely scratched the surface, even in genres that I love. Feel free to join in the Prince Album Poll 2018! Let'a celebrate his legacy by counting down the most beloved Prince albums, as decided by you! |
