Diana Ross on Oprah this week

Diana Ross On Oprah (Video) Marriage, Grandma, Love Chat
by Mitch Marconi

Guess who's coming to Oprah? Music legend Diana Ross is going to perform and be interviewed on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" in Chicago this week.

Oprah almost broke down in tears in the trailer for the upcoming Oprah episode. She claimed that Ross was a huge TV inspiration to her because "You were the one of the only ones that looked like me (Referring to her race) on television."

That was a really good show. It was fun and upbeat. I loved when Tracee told us of how her mom would tell them that they had better get good jobs because the money she was making was NOT for them, it was for HER. That was sooo funny to me. lol

I had to turn if off, Ms. Winfrey's fawning annoyed me. lol

Kudos to Ms. Ross, that's old skool common sense parenting. Parents use to tell kids you don't own a damn thing in this house including the clothes on your back until you buy them with your own money.

Excellent show. Diana still looks fabulous and she sounded great. Watching those old clips made me appreciate her voice for how mellow and seamless it is. Too much emphasis is placed on being able to sang!!!! and do a bunch of runs all over the place; I think some really great singers don't get their due because they don't do all that. Diana had a lovely voice, I don't care....

"Be glad for what you had baby, what you've got..."
