in a funny way, he did have blinders, but at the same time he didn't. there's a point where he did state he loved her, but did not TRUST her. i think the victory tour was the last straw for him. and then that whole moonies fiasco.

i think his public face was to say that his mother was a saint and perfect, because he was holding on to a role model he didn't have. i also think he may have seen her as a saint because she never left joe. i think that said a lot to him. that she would stay there no matter how abusive he was. she was like a martyr.

and michael apparently also publicly denied that whole beatdown of gina sprague- when his mother went to joe's office and cold knocked that lady out! she took janet and i believe randy with her to help. if this did happen, those jacksons don't play, man.
