Jermaine Jackson - The Grease. He just refuses to wash it out. Ughhhh....

Fantasia - Attempt a "Fake" suicide just for promotion. Really Tasia? Are you that desperate? I was completely turned off from that and didn't buy the CD because of it.

Mariah Carey - Mariah reminds me of that movie The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. You know, instead of going forward she just seems to be regressing. In the beginning of her career she seemed to be much more mature, her material had more depth to it...Vision Of Love, Vanishing, I Don't Wanna Cry, etc. How did we get from there to Touch My Body, Obsessed, and the rest of it? Stop going backwards Mimi.

Kanye West - Mr. West is an extremely, extremely gifted rapper but his antics are gonna start overshadowing his music and message. You mark my words. I'm not talking about Bush doesn't care about black people, not the Taylor vs Kanye night, I'm talking about something in the future. He was able to recover from past controversies but he'll eventually have a fall out in the media that will be the nail in his coffin. I said it here first.

It's already happening....

Don't know that I'd go as far as to assume THAT, lol. But I've never heard anything hateful drop from Bob Marley's mouth.

True. lol He probably shun from that type of talk. His thing was unity so nothing personal would've ever been brought up anyway, he wasn't that type of artist. lol

Yeah, I think he deliberately avoided the topic altogether.

Rihanna. She turned into a stupid bitch.

First she gets her ass beat by Chris Brown, which was, of course, a terrible thing and everyone symphathized for her...but then this fool turns around and gets back together with the dipshit that kicked her ass. Strike 1. I was waiting for Mary J Blige to swoop down and smack some sense into her.

Then naked photos get leaked -- strike 2. You'd think as a celebrity, you'd know that if you take naked photos of yourself, they WILL get leaked. NOTHING IS PRIVATE IN YOUR LIFE ANYMORE BITCH. And if you WANTED them to get leaked, you still a dumb bitch.

Then she goes on some radio show and says she feels sorry for any guys that don't get naked photos of their girlfriends. STRIKE FUCKING 3. What a stupid thing to say, especially when there's girls who look up to you. She went from this cute girl from Barbados to the typical pop slut. Thanks for being so unique, hoe.

Rant over.

Oh yeah, and fuck you too, Chris Brown. Punk ass bitch.

falloff Well, tell us how you really feel

I doubt it. People love his music way too much and he feeds off the media attention. He'll still be around being a douche and all lol People thought he was done after the whole Taylor saga but his album went Gold first week.

I have similar feelings about both artists. But call me an old softy, cause when Chris Brown cried on stage during that one performance, I couldn't quite hate him as much as I had immediately following the abuse incident. He's still a jerk in my opinion, but his tears softened my heart toward him just a tad bit, lol.

I had a similar experience with Kanye's ignorant ass, lol. Couldn't stand his ass for a long time, but when he lost his Mom; my heart went out to him... just a little, lol.

I don’t seemed to mind artists being assholes if the music can back it up mostly everyone I like is so I can care less. lol

I know black people have a strong disdain against looking ashy in public but gawddamn, everytime I look at good ol' Jermaine in the TV, I feel like wiping the screen with my tissue.

He's so greasy he could wipe his forehead, splash it on a pan and fry a whole dinner for his family,,,,and their offspring.

If he had powers, he can make that grease into some kind of pavement so people can walk over it unaware that the pavement came from his grease. lol

Public Enemy -- I never had any problems with them as a classic hip-hop group as much as I had a problem with them as separate individuals in recent years. Flavor Flav has help re-invent coonery during his run as a reality TV star. Professor Griff and his on-going feud with Lenon Honor (not to exclude Lenon's flaws by any means) might have divided conspiracy theorists & Truth Movement members even further. Hoe does Chuck D condone all of this (if he knows the whole story at all)?!?

Prince -- I have yet to see OR hear about an album that is worth buying with my money since 3121. I still get disappoint about the lack of a Prince and The Revolution reunion once in a while.

Jay-Z -- the first time I found out through my own research about this man being Illuminati-driven, I would never allow myself to be a fan of his.....ever!!!

Mariah Carey -- This woman has been a victim of de-evolution since the Rainbow album. The older she gets, the more teen-like she gets.

Beyonce -- Even if her father (then-manager) is a rogue Freemason, I think it a shame that this woman gets undeserved songwriting credits simple because she changed 3 to 5 words in what was already a completed demo BEFORE she gotten her hands on it.

R.Kelly -- Based what I know now about his out of control lust for underage girls, I can NEVER listen to any of his hit songs the same way I once did in the early 1990's.

Most Reggae artists, musicians & singers from Jamaica. Used to LOVE Reggae music, until I began to understand the lyrics and philosophy better. Unfortunately, the more I learned, the more I've been turned off to Jamaican culture in general.

yeahthat How can people who've been oppressed can be oppressors too? confused

Well, unless repealed in the last few years, the Jamaican's are adhering to 19th century statutes on homosexuality that were originally instituted by British colonial administators. I'm sure enlightenment will come in time.

I remember reading a story where Bob's manager tried to introduce him to Prince backstage at one of his shows during the Dirty Mind era. The story goes that P came out of his dressing room in costume and Bob was not amused. lol

Prince, in you I found a kindred spirit...Rest In Paradise.
