Lady Gaga Shares New Info on Born This Way

With Beyonce, Britney Spears and Chris Brown all plotting chart comebacks in 2011, Lady GaGa is going to have to put forward her best album yet. However, the Pop phenomenon seems ready for war as she describes her upcoming ‘Born This Way’ LP as “epic”.

Expect to hear the 1st single from the project in February 2011. Look below to see what GaGa had to say about the album:

She described the album as “a marriage of electronic music with major, epic, dare I even say, metal or rock ‘n’ roll, pop, anthemic style melodies with really sledge-hammering dance beats.”

“It’s finished and all, it’s just fine-tuning everything,” the pop megastar added. {Source}

in a weird way this is gagas make it or break it album because if it has small success she will be possibly the next cyndi lauper but if its an epic seller then she can possibly become the next madonna

I'd much rather Gaga release a 12 track album of her screaming as someone is strangling her throat, tearing her flesh and pulling out her female Adams apple with really sledge-hammering dance beats.

She's hyping it up too much which is almost never good.

Just let the music speak for itself Gaga.

I remember seeing tweets about her bragging about the album's production being hot or something.

There is absolutely no way that this album will flop. This shit is gonna be huge. Can't wait! New Britney album in Feb/March, 2011 is shaping up to be a great year.

I kind of ignored Gaga for a while but when I finally heard The Fame Monster I was very impressed. I'll definitely pick up the second album but I'm going to wait until the Super Deluxe Platinum Ultimate Definitive Special Edition is released.

If she was smart she would Pull a Kesha and keep the music in a similar vein.

This album is very likely to become her very own ATWIAD.

You're so glam, every time I see you I wanna slam!

Gaga's music has never been epic and I fail to see that her new record would be sounding that way. She does fun pop music. But she def spends more time on the visuals than the sound. Although I'm not gonna say it's impossible, her new record might really be fantastic, who knows. Nevertheless, building up a hype like that is usually a bad idea.

Agreed but she should avoid building hype for it. She already has rabid fans and the medias attention so she doesn't need to create unrealistic expectations herself. Make sure she can do them well live and she can't fail.

If Bad Romance isn't epic, I don't know what the hell is; that song is so epic that it's almost parody-techno, like Queen did parody-rock...

and her albums are superbly produced; you may like or not like the result or her sound, but believe me, it ain't cheap wink

Lady Gaga has announced the release date of 'Born This Way' the follow up to The Fame Monster. The album will be released on May 23rd.

The title track will be out February 13th. The singer had promised that she would make the announcement on Twitter at the stroke of midnight on New Year's Eve and she did exactly that.

She tweeted: “THE SONG - 2 13 11 (13th February 2011) THE RECORD 5 23 11 (23rd May 2011)”

In addition to the tweet Gaga posted a picture of herself in a leather jacket with the title of the album written on it.

She said in one of her shows that this album will be the greatest one of her career. I'm looking forward to it because she had a big bang with Fame/Fame Monster. It will definitely do well for the simple fact that she already has dedicated fans who will support her.
