I don't really care much for Will or Jada, or how their screwing up their kids.

"People are relying on you." That is a tragic statement. What, the family isn't going to eat if she doesn't do the record? Shame on those parents.

Didn't we have that same discussion before though? The ship has already sailed on that one, and her parents are the ones who should be talked about with such venom(if you guys feel the need to vent), not her.

I didn't participate in any discussion about that before. I'm here now biggrin

Like I said, that (child) is not the issue.

The oldest kid has a diff mother, so that probably explains why he's not in the biz. cool It's pretty clear to me that this girl's parents want both of their kids working in Hwood in a major way. I never buy that "the kid wanted it and we're just helping" thing because kids don't drive themselves to auditions or whatever. Whether the parents are just average wannabe stage parents or superstars like Will and Jada, it's the parents that do the hustling behind the scenes! Not buying it.

BTW, why is "maths" such a big deal here? eek The kid is tutored and could very well have an non American tutor. "Maths" is the common usage in the English speaking world, so even if she didn't say it, the author may have just defaulted to itfrom habit.

I hardly think one letter being added to a word (WHICH DIDN'T CHANGE THE MEANING) means this interview is made up or twisted around. lol

I concur with your statement completely....but you are wrong on the "maths" thing.

Look it up.....

"Maths" is NOT "king's english" here in the U.S.. At best, Brittish vernacular.

All in, I think she's just lovely for a ten year old. Hope the best for her.

WA WA WA WA WA Daddy banks $20 per movie. My Mommy's also a successful actress. My brother just had a #1 at the box office with Jackie Chan. I live in a big mansion in the Hollywood Hills. I don't have to worry about ever struggling like the 'normal' people.

My life is so sucky.

Have a heart, this is sad:

The hardest part is wanting to hang out with your friends when you have to work,” she says. “My friends will come over and you’re recording and you’re like, ‘Pleeease let me go with my friends. I don’t wanna stay here!’ but people are relying on you.

And doesn't sound voluntary. neutral

She better 'whip that hair' or Will & Jada might 'whip that ass'!!! lol

When eye go 2 a Prince concert or related event it's all heart up in the house but when eye log onto this site and the miasma of bitchiness is completely overwhelming!

Forgive me, for I know she's only 10, and I'm a fan of her parents as well, but is the pressure of "fame" that enormous after having a .5 hit song? What's next to deal with after the other .5 hits?

Hollywood these days is a trip....

I think y'all are assuming an awful lot. Will obviously has a studio in his house, so it's not that difficult to envision how she could observe and have an interest in making musit "like daddy". Both of their parents act, so obviously the kids grew up watching that happen and watching (some, I would guess) of their work. Again, if given the chance, how many kids would not want to gain their parents acceptance by doing the same thing they do. Lastly, I can't say about Jada, but I'm positive I read an interview where Will said it was Jaden's choice. He wasn't forced into it.

I can't stand her father, but I won't hold that against her. That said, I fear that this could be a dangerous path for her. Child stars often do end up with some serious trouble coping with it all, and if it's interfering with her education and her childhood in general, she should take a long break. Fame can wait. She won't be a kid forever- she should enjoy these years.

I don't need to look it up. I said she may have a non American tutor. Rich Yanks have been known to hire Brits, etc to tutor their kids. wink "Maths" is common in every other English speaking country EXCEPT the US...which DOES NOT speak "The Queen's English" or use it's spelling.

The media exposure this kid is getting has nothing to do w/ her parents eh? lol She's being driven purely by hype, so what's the source of it then? Surely not her supreme talent?!

Will and Jada are clearly have the best PR and know how to work the media infront and behind the scenes, why not just call it for what it is? It's not like the media stumbled on some unknown super talented kid. lol

Ain't nobody ever got a hit record w/o seeking it themselves or having it sought for them. Who'd say that about Lourdes' fame as a "fashion designer"? Who'd buy it?! lol

Maybe. Maybe not. I would tend to be skeptical of how this interview was chopped or skewed to give a certain slant. The fact that the author/editor inserted the British/EU maths when this is clearly a black American child...shows me that they'd be willing to insert anything into the child's mout that she didn't say 100%...maybe for clarity's sake...or...maybe not. shocked

Didn't know they said "maths" in Britian. I just thought it was further proof that her education is suffering. lol

I don't know if the interview was miscontrued, twisted around or what, I just know that in 7 years, she better not be calling up journalists for an interview to discuss her newfound career in the porn industry with dalmation marks on her ass because she couldn't handle fame at 10 years old....just sayin'. whistle

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

I think Will & Jada seem to love their kids. I am sure they will make some mistakes, but loving them has to be the most important thing (along with passing on a 9 or 10 figure fortune)
