Man, I'm on the wrong computer, lol. I got that info on my other one, but what ?uest said does make since. Where Are You Now and Buttercup sound similar, sounds like the same type of keyboard.
Does Jermaine sing lead on the '74 version of Where Are You Now? So far, I think we only know 2 songs where Michael sang lead and 3 or 4 where Jermaine sang lead
I have no clue. This is the first tim I'm hearing Where Are You Know was for the Stevie/J5 sessions. PRINCE: Always and Forever
MICHAEL JACKSON: Always and Forever

Another track is called "No News is Good News." What he don't know is if the whole album would have been produced by WOnder.
I think the track Cinderella Stay A While has a similar feel to Buttercup and Where Are You Now and Also If I Can't Nobody Can. PRINCE: Always and Forever

Was the Stevie Wonder-produced J5 album even finished is what I wanna know, if so, maybe that's why Stevie hasn't released anything from the sessions with the exception of "Buttercup". |

You know what I think happened (Of course, I don't know this for sure ) Stevie probably overlooked the whole project and possibly let the boys have some conrol over this, hence the few writing credits Michael, Jermaine and the boys have during 1973.
Motown probably seen it and said "hey, who gave y'all permisiion to do y'alls on music? Only Stevie, Smokey and Marvin have these privllages ..."
Soon afterwards, they went on there own again for the Vegas shows and left the label soon. PRINCE: Always and Forever
MICHAEL JACKSON: Always and Forever

You may be absolutely right! Because I'm starting to believe Stevie didn't even finish it. Besides he was too busy on other people's projects, not to mention his own stuff. He probably encouraged them to write more so he wouldn't have to do it. [Edited 12/29/10 19:20pm] |

Either stevie just chose not to share any of the songs or the album was no where near
completed. |

Even if it was finish that doesn’t mean he would release it though. |

Stevie never finished a lot of stuff. He was one to start on something and then minutes later get another idea. [Edited 12/29/10 20:50pm] |

^ With Motown it was all about trying to keep up that image of it being an assembly line, have the writers give you the songs rather than going through it yourself. That's why Joe decided to take the boys somewhere else soon afterwards. |

They was better when they left I love the Jackson 5 but the Jacksons is where it’s at. |

I agree. Every time I go back to their Motown period, I get sad for some reason. They were really treated like cogs in a machine. |
