I cut the third gen some slack. You know, it can't be easy to follow in those footsteps.

I heard a Genevieve song, I think she has talent. She needs some good production and professional vocal training, but hopefully she has some drive.

That's the problem with these kids. They need drive and motivation. With the J5, the motivation of course was to get out of poverty, and that was enough.

Dreams and ambitions are one thing, but you need drive to make it a reality.

They need some Joe Jackson to motivate them.... smile

You know what? I'm not that bothered. Sure I'd take it, but it's so not my kind of music at all. Utterly devoid of soul, i really doubt the track would be like that if Mike was about. Apart from CD single remixes which he only approved, he showed little interest in this kind of music.

It's about the vocals for me.

Me too. He's killing it on the vocals. I still wondered if the music was added in after his death.

This song is produced by Tricky Stewart and was recorded in 2002. And it's pretty dang alright. A bit jumpy and weird though.

Apparently not.

We must remember, however, that all this info came from MJ forums from someone who was supposedly in contact with the person who leaked the song before he got arrested. So it may or may not be the truth.

To be honest, it does not sound like it is from 1998. Dance-pop was not really as popular then as it is now. 2002 sounds reasonable. I think the music may have even been changed.

I was in the car earlier coming home...and listening to "Hold My Hand". Normally, I've taken care of the crying fits and managed to control them because they annoy my friends and family...but then my mom had to start talking about how life is a fragile thing (when referring to Teena Marie) and how we should appreciate those we love while they're with us....and I just bawled. sad

Damn....Michael...I never known this man personally and yet I love and mourn him as if he's my family. The hole in my heart just will never mend, will it?

God, I miss him...cry bawl

I bought this DVD on an MJ/Jackson trader site years ago. I love this dvd. The "Destiny" tour was great. Michael and his bros were fantastic.

"Blame It On The Boogie", "Things I Do For You" and "Show You The Way To Go"=Superb. Strong vocals, excellent dancing and loads of energy. Def. the highlights for me on the DVD.

I love The "Destiny" tour.

Now if only "Bad", "Victory" and "Triumph" would come out on DVD.........

"And When The Groove Is Dead And Gone, You Know That Love Survives, So We Can Rock Forever" RIP MJ heart

"Baby, that was much too fast"...Goodnight dear sweet Prince. I'll love you always heart
