I read it was produced by Rodney Jerkins "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world."

Hell nah! "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world."

Listening to the tagged version and the version where someone tried removing the tags, they made a huge mistake, they took pieces of earlier parts and looped them so it doesn't sound right and some parts takes the song off it's rhythm "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world."

Yeah I didn't like that one.

To those who frequent Maximum Jackson, it's temporarily closed. Some "fan" hacked into the site and did damage to the forum, including erasing one of the forum's main sections "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world."

I saw that a night or two ago. Now I know why.

I bet its someone who believes its Michael on the Cascio tracks that did it. Pretty much everyone on that site took a "Its obviously not Michael" stance. That or its one of the idiots who thinks that Mike was a pedo messing around with fansites.

Where's the real version then?

"Slave to the Rythym" is aiiiigh....I think sometimes MJ fans get so excited about a unreleased track that they overate it. It's good, but not to the point where if Sony decided to include it on the "Michael" album, that it makes much of a difference. The track is not hot like that. Techno 1992 beat.
Unless you live a billion miles outside of the USA...You might think the beat is NEW
Decent track though. | |

Okay....?uestlove recently mentioned that "Where Are You Now? and "Love For Me" from Jermaine's "Let's Get Serious" album were originally from the Jackson 5 1974 album that was produced by Stevie but shelved
the pieces to the puzzle are coming together
-A Pretty Face Is
-Buttercup http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aoRaDtvsXXI
-Where Are You Now? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A3x1b5yEHJw
-You're Supposed To Keep Your Love For Me http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RsWpLdtIDQ8
LBC, what were the other songs from the '74 sessions with Stevie? "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world."

Or it could have been some ex-member who got banned trying to exact revenge. If it was a some people who had that MJ is a pedo stance then I am pretty sure they would have rather raided the site instead.

Here's the cleanest version of STTR I could find. Still not quite complete but its better than the other versions out at the moment.

Thanks a lot for this. I am sorry for replying this late. Anyway, does anyone have MP3 of these: Billy Wolfer´s songs Donna Summer - State of Independence Stevie Wonder - All I do, You Haven´t Done Nothing Brandy - It´s Not Worth It Kenny Loggins - Who´s Right Who´s Wrong, Seeing Voices Kenny Rogers - Going Back to Alabama "When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really don´t like the idea that he could have it all."

Im really feelin "Ride with me"
I think Jerkins had better tracks for MJ for invincible, but i think Mike kept trying so hard to be perfect that some of the songs were overproduced.
Also it seemed MJ didnt want to go FULL r&b.....He should have though

Ride with me is pure crap, the vocals already sampled from an Invinicble outtake called " It's not worth it"....
Slave to the rhythm is amazing , but they should do something regarding the beat of the song and some noises other than that the song is a killer, especially the vocals....

Man, I'm on the wrong computer, lol. I got that info on my other one, but what ?uest said does make since. Where Are You Now and Buttercup sound similar, sounds like the same type of keyboard. PRINCE: Always and Forever

Yeah similar instrumentation on those tracks. Sounds right. I've been doing research on that MJ/J5/Stevie album since 2003.
Maybe Stevie will give permission for more tunes. Back when I asked on the Motown board about it they said it was up to Steve if it would see the light of day. Including Harry (forgot his last name right now) dude that is instrumental in a lot of Motown rare stuff.

Does Jermaine sing lead on the '74 version of Where Are You Now? So far, I think we only know 2 songs where Michael sang lead and 3 or 4 where Jermaine sang lead "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world."
