But yet you have fans moaning and groaning on how its disrespectful and and how the estate is ashamed of michael post bad, etc and so on. I mean seriously can the drama and the estate/$ony backlash wait until we see the whole concept first? Same thing with the rumored fake mj songs, we hadnt even heard the songs yet and fans readily believed it, ready to boycott the album. Dang have we not learned anything from mj?

That painting for the cover is actually quite excellent. I don't know what other people are looking at. The artist captured Michael's facial structure very well.

That new album cover looks as if the ones for Dangerous and Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club got together one night and decided to have a baby.

What I find kinda interesting is the new album cover predominately features Off the Wall and Thriller era MJ, with some Bad era in there, while the image used for the Cirque Du Soleil is Dangerous era MJ.

Yeah it continues. I also didn't believe that was the full cover either as the picture was cut off.

Some folks over at MJ boards jump to conclusions. You can't really count on them to be reasonable.

with Michael, nothing is ever as it seems on first glance.....this cover is more like a puzzle...and the "new" single is called "Breaking News?".....everybody take a look at the 2 cherubs at the top...you notice that one is light and the other is dark?.....look and study this cover closely...notice anything else?....Michael on the left from the thriller era is darker while Michael from the bad era is lighter?...another thing to look at as well....notice the camera and how it's facing you?....i can't wait to hear the new single....Michael Jackson is like a book that once you pick it up, you can't put it down..

And that's why it's fascinating to me. I find it funny some folks are ready to jump on someone's bones because they think this is the full cover. I'm sure someone will post the full cover soon.

I like the cover.. I dunno, it gives a graffiti/art feel to it...

AND THE NAME FOR THIS ALBUM IS JUST SO DAMN RIGHT! Yes, simply Michael evokes everything you need to know about this album....

Wouldn't be surprised if there is a Prince contribution one way or another on this album - might be minor like a guitar lick or something.

Of course could have come from the artist having an "in" joke with Michael.
