Is his 47 supposed to look like this?

[img:$uid]http://george.michael.szm.com/Lyrics/Pics/make4.jpg[/img:$uid]

Well, it doesn't. Nor does it for many 47-year-old men.

It's likely that too many random hook ups with middle-aged fat men in parks caused him to rapidly age.

Sex with random bodybuilders at least two decades younger guarantees a youthful appearance ad infinitum? Or maybe marrying those bodybuilders? (Because, as we all know, bodybuilders don't cruise parks for sex - they only marry each other and bask in each other's infinitely youthful glow.) Or maybe with surfers that look like he used to look, you know, on the cover of Make It Big over 25 years ago - the gold standard not only for how he should look for the rest of his life but how his pieces/hookups/trade/dates/hustlers/husbands/escorts/whoever's standing on his side of the street should look.

And what do you look like?

That's what I thought ...

I'd have thought by now that George would have finished a follow-up album to his 2004 release . But regrettably, he has found satisfaction in becoming an international joke.

well it took him 8 years to follow up "Older" so don't jump the gun lol

about being sentenced.... sentence his ass to rehab!

....... I don't necessarily look up to him as a role model, but I do admire him for what he's done in his life, and what he's been through, and (most times) how's he handled it. I guess the anger comes from people knowing the talent he has, and that there are still great things in him, yet all he's doing is getting fat, staying high, and fuckin' whoever he can when Kenny's not home.

I feel his sentence is not long enough.

Plus, I think he needs some sort of rehab help. Judge should of considered that.

It's only the second custodial sentence handed out there in the last 10 years for driving on cannabis, so, bit harsh actually; he had no alcohol in his blood and it's not like he has to rob to feed his addiction.

George "cried like a baby" when he was taken to the cells...

http://www.music-news.com...emID=36434

The court heard the 47-year-old singer couldn't remember when he had lost control of his car as he travelled between his house in Highgate, north London, to his other home in nearby Hampstead but 'he thinks he was towards the end of the journey."

No shit!?!? lol lol lol

You know I was kinda judging Elton when it was mentioned he and David were trying to get George help and he basically laughed at them. But now I can see where they were coming from... but still George has to want help himself if he was ever gonna get out of the shit he put himself in. But hey this could be a real sobering experience. Look what happened to El DeBarge, it could happen to George too. pray

George Michael 'Cried Like A Baby' When Jailed

George Michael reportedly 'cried like a baby' when he was sentenced to eight weeks in prison for a drug driving offence yesterday.

The singer was said to be 'inconsolable' after the hearing, apparently crying in a holding cell before he was transferred to London's Pentonville Prison to begin his time behind bars.

Michael's cellmate Richard Hayes commented: "I couldn't believe it was George Michael standing in front of me. When the door shut behind him, he didn't know what to do. He was in pieces."

"He kept repeating, 'I can't believe this has happened to me.' I told him to come and sit down, asked him what happened and he just put his head in his hands. He was crying his eyes out, he was sobbing. He was like a little boy."

Hayes added: "I told George to sit down. To be honest with you, he was sh**ing himself. I tried to reassure him, but he just held his head in his hands and stayed in the corner."

The singer, who is expected to serve only half of his two-month sentence for smoking cannabis and crashing into a Snappy Snaps store in Hampstead, North London is said to have checked into rehab shortly after the incident.

However, it wasn't enough to save him from the slammer as District Judge John Perkins sent him to jail for eight weeks stating: "I accept entirely you have shown remorse."

He added: "There's no question you have supported many charities and made a difference to many people's lives for the better. Your record is of concern. I must have regard to the sentencing guidelines."

George's partner of 14-years, Kenny Goss cried as his lover was sentenced but Michael's - real name Georgios Panayiotou - could be released in as little as four weeks.

2 months in prison isn't the worst part for George.

THE worst part is that he is banned from driving anyway in the UK for the next 5 years of his life. THAT part of his criminal record will be comfirm everywhere on earth, including the USA. Without a limo driver, George can NOT travel on the road at all. He'll definitely be at the mercy of public transportations & taxi cabs.

I can't blame him for crying. No matter who you are, you DON'T want to be in a jail cell. It's unknown territory with no real sense of security. Walking into a friend's new house is one thing, but in jail - you're flat out alone. His reaction is human, but of course the media is going to use it against him. How quickly we raise someone to god-like status, then crucify them for not being "one of us".

I hope he "gets it" though. I hope he figures out why he's there. Pot to him is as normal as drinking water, and his statement of "I can't believe this is happening to me" only resolves my assumption.

It's kind of miraculous the likes of Pete Doherty and (though i'm a fan) Amy Winehouse have repeatedly been in similar trouble, have actually caused physical harm to people in the past and haven't done any time.

I feel a bit sorry for George.

George has shown no desire to quit messing with drugs, but the fact is most people want to quit but cannot. When you end up in jail it tells you in no incertain terms that your life is not going the way it should.

It must be a rude awakening for him, but maybe he will change for the better and face his demons head on.

you're right. I'd forgotten.

Looks like he might've pushed that guy off his balcony and killed him too. You see that CCTV that was made public last week with him legging it away?

Weren't they saying it was his bodyguard? I read an interview in the Standard years back where he said his security was made of the crew that took care of him inside.

Maybe true, but running away while a man lies dying on the ground doesn't exactly make him look good.

I think George is addicted much the same way Robert Downey was addicted. Drugs ruin the body, alter the mind and they stay in your system even after you've given them up. In some cases the damage that has been done is permanent. We are talking chemicals here. George may want to quit but he can't at the moment. He's going to need a lot more than jail and counseling. He needs medical attention. His body must be cleansed and he must rid himself of people that enable his addiction. Someone also ought to look into his diet. My aunt had to change her diet as part of her treatment program because a diet high in sugar and artifical ingredients only promotes the drug addiction.

dont worry people, prison will be like a spectacular gay cruise for George, look how many dicks he will get to choose from, hard, soft or wet.

anyway, have some "faith", because George will be like a "Father Figure" to them lot, and he will show some "fastlove" to anyone who wants it, not to mention he will "wake them up" till they go go.

you go for it george

show them who's boss. George should be free to smoke what he wants, hes a grown man.

2 weeks? pathetic, he should have been fined instead.

Ridiculous? Falling asleep at the wheel (numerous times) and driving into things calls for some kind of action to be taken. He has been stripped of his licence before but it did not stop him from doing the same thing once he had his licence back. Lucky he did not hurt or kill someone. I agree that George should be free to smoke all the cheeba he wants, but also taking pills and then driving is way out of line. George has been crying out for help and maybe this will help him finally get his life together.
