Those are all top 10 cheesy hits that are cathy as hell.

They pretty much nailed it! There is a lot of overlap with this list and my own, which I've posted here a few times.

Although some of the songs are not my favorites, I thought they were pretty popular,

like "Who Let the Dogs Out?".

Of course Vanilla Ice and Hammer are in the top 10. What a joke.

Ice Ice Baby and Can't touch this aren't bad songs.

Certaintly not worst of all time material.

Just because the artist is a one hit wonder/gimmick doesn't mean the music should be discredited.

My standard response: That is the worst song i've ever heard, by anyone, EVER! especially by an artist of Prince's former standing. A complete embarrassment.

Oh heck yes. That song is absolute torture.

The songs on the list are at least listenable. There are sooooo many worse songs (almost anything by Prince in the 90's) , but AOL just wants to be cute.

I think there's a big difference between "worst songs ever recorded" and "worst songs to make the top 40"... this list is definitely the latter.

There are many things I dislike about this list. For starters, how the hell is "Blue (Da Ba Dee)" only #41?!? Every song ahead of it is better.

The top ten can be pretty bad, but a lot of what bubbles under is god awful bad.

When I was younger I did like that song, but listening to it now, it's really lame, even for Will Smith. Pop-Rap sucks anyway, so there you go. And besides, usually white people love that song, next to "Can't Touch This". j/k

I heard it for the first time in its entirety last month.

Its an audio trainwreck: too campy to be a sports anthem and the most un-Prince thing Prince has ever done.
