It's the exact same beat as that song he wrote for Troop-forget the name of it.

"Lack of home training crosses all boundaries."

SuperFunk59

Just managed to get the three Tease albums with Chucki on two of them. Does anyone else enjoy Tease. Funky as ****!! (I know this has nothing to do with this song but I thought I'd mention it anyway haha)

Tha Chuck actually wrote Turned Away for Troop. When they heard it, they loved it!

But when the exec who was in charge of Chuckii affairs at Atlantic heard the song, she refused to let him give it Troop. She heard a big hit in the song and wanted to make it Chuckii's debut single instead.

Troop were upset. So he promised to write them a song that would be the equivalent of Turned Away.

That song was Spread My Wings.

I LOVE, "Turned Away". I would take that over, "Games" any day. He also had another song, called, "Don't you know, I love you".

That song is incredible!!!!!

That being said I always thought his videos were dull and boring as hell, and were in such contrast to the immense creativity in the songwriting and musicanship.

I also dont get why Games was chosen for the first single.

???

That was probably the weakest song on the album!

I LOOOOOVE me some Chuckii! If he decided to stay an artist I think he would have been a huge success, but he knew the money was in writing and producing so stuck with that instead and it's worked out well for him. Love his voice, love his songwriting, Wasn't he the tour manager for Lionel Ritchie last I heard... I remember seeing Lionel at the Essence Fest the last time I was there and I could have sworn Chuckii was on stage with him in the band.

Prince esta muerto...
