The irony is that sometimes the most powerful people in the world become a casualty of the own power, and become the most vunerable.
Although I'm your biggest fan...I'm also your biggest critic. Can you deal with that?

Randy seems very sincere. It has got to be hard on them. I'm sure they must think..."If I had only done a little more, if I had only persisted, if I had him committed". I mean all of these thoughts must run through your mind when someone loses a loved one from something soooo preventable. I really believe that Michael's family did all that they possibly could (based on media reports and from Janet herself), I understand that several "interventions" were attempted. But I really wonder if they ever attempted to get him hospitalized under California's 5150. Especially if they knew about the damned anesthesia sleeps. Sad, and I'm definitely not blaming anyone in the family.

Reel, Randy is everything but sincere. Just like Poppa Joe, there's nothing good about him.

What is so preventable? Michael's insomnia problem? If you're talking about the drug addiction thing I invite you to read the autopsy report (if you can read one).

The brothers admitted on LK live that they weren't aware whether MJ was a junkie or not. We all know, by now, that the interventions stories are lies invented to save face. So, don't go there. wink

Whatever Randy says, think the contrary. biggrin

Wow some of Michael Jackson’s "fans"(fanatics) need an intervention.

The man was an incredible artist, but he had lots of problems that had nothing to do with his parents. After people are adults, it’s their responsibility to get help for their own problems.

Blaming a family for all the problems of a 50 year old man is ridiculous.

Stop making Michael Jackson a victim of his family.

Stop blaming 80 year old people for all Michael Jackson’s problems

He stated himself that he had a problem with drugs.

Michael Jackson was not a saint, he had problems like every other human being!!!

It was. 1975-1979 was an important period for Michael's vocal development and creative integrity.

MJ stated in 1993, SEVENTEEN YEARS AGO, that he had a problem with drugs FOR A FEW MONTHS AND THEN WENT TO REHAB. Just because two decades ago the guy had a problem with drugs for some months doesn't mean he died because of it or that he struggle endlessly with drugs, images the family perpetuates.

I couldn't care less if Joe Jackson is a 80 or a 15 years old. That shouldn't be an excuse for the monster he was, is and will be. STOP GIVING THE MAN A PASS. I don't care if he is black, pink or white. I don't care if he is a new born or an old person. NOTHING excuses him. NOTHING. He is an absolute hideous person. May Satan be declared saint next to that son of a bitch. And, yes, I do know that he is 80. And, yes, evenn with that in mind I still tell the truth about him.

I'm so great, aren't I?

Dear Reel,

why did Dr. Ionache, Tom Meserau, Chief Kay, MJ's bodyguards, Raymone Bay and others claimed Michael was NOT a drug addict? Why did the autopsy report confirmed it?

Interestingly enough: the people I've mentioned actually...huh, err...had contact with Michael! Just a curiosity as you might have understood. Obviously, a minor fact, isn't it?

Another minor fact: the Jacksons confessed they had absolutely NO contact with Michael. Just another minor fact from a big, raging Jackson family hater!!!

The brothers themselves confirmed they had NO proof MJ was a drug addict. The brothers themselves confirmed the only reason they thought MJ was a junkie was because he refused to have contact with them so, therefore, they assumed he was "hiding something". The Jacksons themselves confirmed that they only think Jackson was a junkie because they heard it from "sources" (Leo Leo Rowe and Big Ole Poppa Joe [who BTW NEVER spanked Michael, okay?]).

Why do you think the Jacksons never give a timeline for the "interventions"? Why did the Jacksons FORMALLY DENIED, in 2007 and 2008, that MJ was a drug addict (remember the signed letter)?

Shall you Reel, battle such evidence. Ohhh, an advice: Joe Jackson was just old school, okay?

Great knowlegeable one

You don't have to thank. I'm THAT amazing! I know it!

Oh, Reel: Janet says MJ was a druggie and bases her claims on the fact that he took Propofol. Shall Janet- and you- know that a Propofol addict can't even move and, yet, there are over 100 hours of tapes of MJ rehearsing. See, that's where one (preferentially a person whose IQ is higher than 20) catches Janet LYING!

Just a small thought for you to dismiss (since I'm such a Jackson family hater...they are SO undeserving of any hate!!!): why would people who abandon their children (here comes amazingly sincere Randy), who are sex addicts, jobless, penniless, "moralless", greedy to the core, wife and sons abusers, deadbeats et cetera care about a brother? Ohhh oops: they were hounding "junkie brother" MJ to do a reunion tour.

You make it easy! wink

At this point of the discussion, I'll quote Saramago (whom you probably don't know who he is): "The ones who don't have arguments (and know the others are right), will always try to quickly end a discussion by making the other look bad and, discretly, leave the conversation." (Said by Bartolomeu Gusmão in Baltasar and Blimunda)

I proved to you, A+B, that MJ was not a drug addict. Knowing that full well, you immediately refuse to continue the conversation while trying to make me look bad. Reel: you better end the discussion for your own sake. wink

I love Lady Gaga, but let's be honest:

The Fame & The Fame Monster are not the same album. Seven from the same album is an exaggeration. Also, doing it in 2010 is different than in the heydey of the 80's.

It really depends on how you view it. Technically, The Fame Monster IS a brand new album, BUT since it came packaged with The Fame, they count it as an "extension" to The Fame

Not to mention the siblings were all trying to get him to do the reunion show in Texas

It's all one big mess and people have their own sides of what was happening in the family neutral

Hey I'm going to speculate that perhaps the siblings denied it because they did not want to fuel the rumors and tabloid speculation. Maybe all 8 (or however many) of them were not a part of the intervention. That doesn't mean that some of them never attempted. Also it was reported on some news outlet (I just cant recall which one) that in one instance they were turned away at the gate by security.

They could never enter MJ's house. NEVER. And taht is one of the reasons as to why they think MJ was an addict; they saw that refusal to have contact as Michael "hiding something" from them.

Do you know why they were stopped by security? I've read reports about that one, and it does leave suspicion. I will not conclude that its drug addiction, because I don't know. However, I will say this: There has been reports that he was in great shape the day before he died.

MJ's bodyguards (Mike Le Purré, for example) said Michael was sick and tired of being hounded for reunion tours. He even said that Michaael refused to answer the phone whenever family members phoned and that he told his bodyguards not to tell his brothers he was in the same building as them because he didn't want to be pressured for reunion tours.

Purré finished saying that Michael completely refused to let his family enter his house since he could no longer put up with being hounded for reunion toures by the Jacksons.

You can watch his interview in Access Hollywood.

It's a lot of speculation, that's why it's so messy right now

Tito and Rebbie are saying the interventions happened back in the early 90s or in 2000/2001

Jermaine saying none happened recently

LaToya and Randy are saying he was murdered and that there are more people behind it

Jackie and Marlon aren't saying much except they want the full story before concluding to anything

Janet is saying that there were meetings but then says she hadn't seen Michael in years (before her birthday party, it had been 3 or 4 years since she had last seen him)

then there was that thing with Leonard Rowe and AllGood Entertainment (who is now suing the estate for $300 million)

and the autopsy says he was in good health

so it's like a big whirpool or speculation

The bottom line is that Michael Jackson was abusing drugs. He was abusing a prescription anethesia and died because of it. Thats what EVERYONE does know. Now, again it would not be out of this world to speculate and even conclude that some family members tried to reach out to their brother. Perhaps some did not.

With regards to interventions etc, the fact that these reports first came to light many many many years before Michael's recent death has to at least open the possibility that they took place. I had heard of his family flying to places like Miami and Vegas to try these interventions over concern over the amount of alcohol michael was taking and pain medication.

I think the family were sincere in their wanting their brother to be alright. I also think some family members probably thought if they helped Michael he would help in return with a reunion tour etc. The sad part is that no matter what their intentions Michael's first reaction it appears was to think they were hounding him for money, favours or tours (and precedent lays this out) but the tragedy may have been at times he was shutting them out when they wanted to put aside any gain for themselves and just support and help him.

Reel, I'll explain it again. This time slowlier:

1. MJ had an insomnia problem, therefore, hired a doctor to put him to sleep safely so that he wouldn't feel tired the next. He did this in the HIStory tour as well. He wasn't a drug addict, he simply wanted to sleep.
2. MJ was NOT taking any drugs other than Propofol and related anesthetics (administered with Propofol). He was NOT abusing Propofol. Otherwise, he wouldn't even be able to move.
3. MJ died because Dr. Murray administerd 40 times more Propofol than he should have, didn0t give an IV grip and performed CPR on a bed. MJ simply wanted to sleep since he was an insomniac and Murray gave him 40x more Propofol than he should have.
4. MJ's autopsy report confirmed that he was a healthy man whose body was strong and showed no trace of short or long term drug addiction.
5. Don't get me started on the family. The "reached out for their brother BS" is not for people of my age. Try the pompous Dinasty reality show forum.

Informed people know full well MJ was not abusing drugs. Once again, you made things too easy. You can quote Twain, though you know FULL WELL I'm right.

I don't get how anyone can buy into the "family tried to help him" talk when there's been so much shadiness from the family themselves. Didn't Randy fuck up MJ's finances when he took over MJ's affiars while MJ was on trial? Or wasn't Randy the one trying to get MJ to sell the catalogue? And we saw how Joe acted once This Is It came together. There's too much fuckedness from the family to take them too seriously on what happened with MJ. It's like of course they're going to make themselves look good.

Finally someone intelligent. Thank you.

Joe acted once This Is It came together.

The fans who defend the family have a short memory.
