That's because I don't argue with crazy or any of its related synonyms. If it's any consolation, I don't like Britney Spears' music -- I put them in the same category.

Now then, I'll leave you to your storied race-sleuthing, amigo.

Is it because you don't like uptempo songs, at least from the today's contemporary artists(not comparing yesteryear's uptempos, I can admit they are better than today's for the most part, so let't not go there)? Because what Britney does and what Beyoncè in regards to that are completely different in terms of genre and sound. Believe it or not.

No, I'm not saying their songs are identical.

I like uptempo music. That preference is secondary, however, to my preference for what I consider good music. Neither woman, as a rule, produces songs I like.

Okay. Understood. I ask because I know people who put what Bey and Britney does in the same lane and your post to the poster with the Stevie Wonder avatar sparked my curiousity in that way.

You like what you like. *shrugs* I am not a fan of Sadè, for example, and when I say that, people judge my musical tastes just on that alone. I made this thread, because it seems there is so much venom on this board concerning her sometimes. But disliking an entertainer's music is no big deal. I am sure there are people who think Van Gogh or Rembrandt sucks. That's the beauty of art. You either respond to it or not....

i wouldn't say she can't sing entirely
but i don't like the plagiarism when she claims to 'write her own songs and for DC'

i bought one DC album a few years back and looked in the booklet

she doesn't write the songs she co-write them with about 4 or 5 other people

watch james L. brooks claim to write all the episodes for the simpsons and watch matt greoning and brad bird sue his ass

but when singers do it alot of them seem to get away with it
''now watch what you say or they'll be calling you a radical, a liberal, a fanatical criminal''

Well, co-writing is still co-writing.And in songwriting, there are different entities to it. It's not just lyric-writing. She has said numerous times that she is a co-writer. Even in this thread...it's posted(I think the 7th page) what she does in the studio whether it is writing songs with other co-writers from scratch or getting full songs from them and then arranging them in the way she wants it to sound that fits her.

And no to mention...if Beyoncè wasn't giving credit, then it would be HER name and her name alone in the linear credits. People have to keep that in mind.

well no, the people who make the album hardware and legality is why they are included in the credits,
if she was to say ''im not including you in the credits'' they'd probably not work with her again.

Its the reason why Medea and her plantation stories still get massive numbers in box office disbelief

With my very own ears I heard somebody say that "We could do much worse than Beyonce and Tyler, at least they're better than some" lol yeah, good job losing that money on "not worse than" things.

Right.

It was just an observation. For some reason most get REALLY (not even slightly) upset if someone speaks differently of her (This thread) and they also feel like she's a threat to every female artist neutral (http://wigcrypt.blogspot.com/ ) nuts lol

No offense, but do you see what you are saying? If the woman is saying that she is a co-writer then she is not taking full or sole credit. It's the antithesis of what you are saying. In fact, you saying this (she may say she is a co-writer but she still takes credit when credit is given to her as the SOLE song writer which is plagiarism) is the opposite of what you are talking about and whether they download or not, the linear credits are in there. I always look for them. There is never an excuse. Besides this as I said, the very that Beyoncé says that she works with a bunch of writers shows she gives credit.

beyonce juxtaposes herself alot
and that's why she'll say one thing in one interview and say another in another interview
let me dumb it down a bit
in other words
if in one interview she calls her self a co-writer that wouldn't suggest she's mentioning that in another interview

i mean for god's sake she yodels all those god-awful gospel songs on how much she loves jesus
and then dances around in things that are barely legal to show on daytime TV
..not that i'd have a problem with another woman doing that as long as they weren't claiming to be religious and whatever

but i digress,i came on this forum basically to say that one thing i don't really want to talk about a woman i couldn't give a shit about

so end of
