i really like this album music. gonna cop it on tuesday and i never buy cds anymore (i don't have an ipod grandpa). the only song i remember not being too much into was make the bus, but even that was o-kayyy. the interludes were kept to a minimum (a good thing) and my only big gripe was that tightrope fades out too soon on the album version and the "if i play my ukelele" part is like my favorite guitar pout, but a well done album overall clapping. i hope she pops off big and has many more tight, eclectic albums like this in her future cuz i dig her cool

I got a listen to the album, and i really really like it. But man it's different and that's good thing. I guess i thought it be a little bit more radio friendly...I guess i was think it be more Metropolis. But it wasn't AT ALL. And again i like that!! It was like John Williams meets Stevie Wonder. I think this is one of those albums that the more i listen to it. The more I'll love it. Which is true to most of all my fav. albums! I have feeling this will go down as one of them. Well done Janelle Well done. bow bow bow

I gotta say i think "BaBopBye Ya" stands out for me the most. It's the last track on the album clocks at just under 9 minutes, and leaves you thinking "what was that? And where can i get some more of it?"

I think Janelle wore it first, years before the Noisettes became known. hmmm I'm not sure though.

You're right.
It's the entire end section of Many Moons played back. I thought it was kindoff... unnecessary.

I'm reviewing the album for my school's paper. And I'm not sure where to start with it just yet. Overall, I was disappointed with it, but I do believe that its a promising album and that Janelle is immensely talented.

Is the place to be
Where all the lonely Droids
And lovers have their wildest dreams

The golden door of our emotions

We’re all virgins to the joys of

damn. This album is INCREDIBLE! I had given up on anyone being able to pull something off like this. It's a throwback / flash forward that reminds me why I was a huge funk R&B fan for most of my life (until it was seemingly lost to boring producers). Well written , catchy, performed impeccably and lots of variety so I can keep on listening for a long, long, time! Can't WAIT to catch her live!
