I first heard this on radio and initially thought it was some old early 80's song The verses are very 80's ala Pointer Sisters or whomever. Thats the vibe I get anyway.

I definately think it has some retro 80's sound, the song itself has some Joe Jackson's "Steppin' Out" bass line sample all over, I have listened to the whole album and believe me it sounds a lot like a mash up between Kylie,Madonna, Lady Gaga, MIKA and others, which IMHO brings that silly pop freshness to the music scene, sure some will say that Cilmi went downhill on this song, compared to her debut album, which barrows more from Amy Winehouse.

Not her best effort I might add, but hey she has great boobs
