Dupe thread, and no one has confirmed it's about David Geffen. Warren's name is also whispered in the new version of the song. Go read the original thread. There's a lot more to this.
It's not about David Geffen. Warren still believes it's about him. We know it's not about Mick Jaggar, he sang on the damn thing. Later in "Son Of A Gun" by Janet, where Carly rerecorded new vocals for the song, she said in the song: The apricot scarf was worn by Nick
