My personal faves, and again, no way indicative of the best male voices ever:
Michael Jackson (but before he got all excessive with the shamones and hee hees) and truthfully I still contend that Jermaine actually has a better voice, but the grease and the attitude are a turn off Marvin Gaye Luther Vandross Maxwell Marques Houston (needs to break away from his lil crew and get some better material) Ne-Yo George Michael Jamie Foxx (needs to check his ego though, but his voice is crazy) Lionel Richie Mario (also needs better material)

I've seen Jermaine on several lists (mine included), it's nice to see him getting some love. He's terribly underrated in mosat circles, but I will agree with those who say his overblown ego is a huge turn off. Dyes Got the Answers 2 Ur ?s

George Michael
Michael Jackson Prince Marvin Gaye Maxwell Billy Griffin Teddy Pendergrass Smokey Robinson Leon Ware Lenny Williams I based my list strictly on vocals, and not necessarily on technical proficiency, but rather my own tastes. There's several artists that I like much more overall musically than some that I've listed, yet I don't find them to be great vocalists.

There are so many vocalists past and present it is very difficult 2 narrow it down 2 ten. I probably have at least 100 plus.

i could have Stevie all day every day. he's one of the very few singers i'd never get bored or tired of their voice no matter how frequently I've been listening to him.
