George Clinton's Son Passed Away Today Poor George is getting hit hard this year. First his Mom, now his son! From his MySpace page:

The Leon County Sheriff’s Office was called to the Plantations at Pine Lake apartments on Halstead Boulevard at 12:30 p.m. Monday where they discovered the body of a man identified as George Clinton Jr., 50.
He is the son of musician George Clinton, who leads Parliament-Funkadelic and is included in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The elder Clinton has a recording studio in Tallahassee. The LCSO was called by a maintenance person at the complex who had gone inside one of the apartments to check on the welfare of a resident after he had not seen him in a couple of days, said Sgt. Tony Drzewiecki. The body was taken to the morgue where it will be examined by the Medical Examiner’s Office.Barring any finding by the Medical Examiner’s Office, our investigation is complete.” Drzewiecki said friends of the family responded and “they did notify George Clinton Jr.’s father of the death.” | |
