On first listen, it's kind of a disappointment. The arrangements aren't, well, cartoony enough, and I'm not sure the songs are strong enough to pick up the slack. But I will give a few listens more...

Damn, everybody seems to be disappointed in this but me. 
I don't think it's as amazing as Demon Days was, but I think it's far better than the first album. Tracks 4-13 grabbed me from the first listen. Feel free to join in the Prince Album Poll 2018! Let'a celebrate his legacy by counting down the most beloved Prince albums, as decided by you! | |
