En Vogue. They were grown woman and they wore it well. Basically no drama, they were classy and could all sing circles around every member of TLC.

What do you mean no drama? You know about their feud with Luther and Dawn is the def of drama "Lack of home training crosses all boundaries."

Love TLC, but En Vogue wins this easily for me. "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis

En Vogue for Dawn Eversince Ms.Robinson left that group,,,,it was cricketsville from then on. Their last CD came out and all the stores out here had BOXES of copies that nobody bought "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. I actually like SoulFlower
I love TLC, but En Vogue really just is the ultimate female group! but TLC is right there too Different styles make it hard to sompare. I guess the big tthing is EV can do TLC type music but not vice versa.

TLC were different, aggressive, raw and fun.
En Vogue were just,,,,,too proper They were the 90s answer to Supremes and Shirelles, which is a cool concept for awhile but quite passe,,,,and boring. Plus, I identified more with the girls from TLC and what they talked about in their music.

Vocally, En Vogue kills TLC obviously. It's not even close.
But I prefer TLC's music and style and plus I used to love these girls so much when I was younger. TLC for me! "And When The Groove Is Dead And Gone, You Know That Love Survives, So We Can Rock Forever" RIP MJ
"Baby, that was much too fast"...Goodnight dear sweet Prince. I'll love you always

TLC's "CrazySexyCool" defined a new generation of streetwise girls with attitude. So for that, they win this shit, no contest. |

Vocally - EnVogue
All around greatness (ie the full package) - TLC...they may not have been able to outsing EnVogue, but they had waaaay more personality and depth than EnVogue did IMO. I love both groups, but TLC was and still is my all-time favorite girl group. Prince Rogers Nelson

I love 'em both so much, but if I could only pick 1, it would be En Vogue. TLC were more creative and made more of an impact, but they lacked the vocal abilities of En Vogue. The harmonies those 4 ladies created were magical. Who can forget the sass of "My Lovin' (You're Never Gonna Get It) or the runway video for the spread-the-love song "Free Your Mind"?

Obviously vocally En Vogue shits all over TLC, but overall, I'm rolling with T-Boz, Left Eye and Chilli. White Americans, what? Nothing better to do? Why don't you kick yourself out? You're an immigrant too. -White Stripes

TLC. While I listened to both groups, TLC were really the soundtrack of my teenage years. En Vogue were better vocally, but TLC were much more fun and had catchier songs, and that was more important to me back then.

man i used to worship TLC when i was younger - i thought 'crazysexycool' was the best thing since sliced bread.
But over the years - i've kinda got bored with them and have re-discovered 'en vogue' - i think their music is more timeless where as TLC's music was from that time. So the verdict is still out for me
