It also boils down to preference I suppose, because "hood" girls in appearance or attitude have never attracted me. I know a lot of girls identified with TLC, but I personally love women who look and act like ladies for the most part. So while I like TLC and have their first two albums, based upon vocals and style, I have to go with En Vogue. This was tough because of the different styles. .. and I prefer fine, grown-assed women to silly little girls any day. However, I'd probably say CrazySexyCool is my favorite album by either group. I would pay to see En Vogue in concert, not TLC. But, TLC put out superior records! "Be glad for what you had baby, what you've got..."

agreed. TLC singing was pretty good. They were more of a video group but T box and Chili can sing. Left eye was a good rapper. I really liked her voice. But to sit and watch a concert I do think I would enjoy Envogue better. "Remember, one man's filler is another man's killer" -- Haystack

This is tough. I love both, but I play more TLC than En Vogue these days, so TLC it is.
Just after I posted this, VH1 Soul is playing En Vogue videos on their Soul Story show... LOL [Edited 11/28/09 8:05am] Lay back in my tenderness... Stay with me... Don't you go nowhere...

Well put but TLC was cool and i agree they did go a little over the top sometimes with the so called street cred. I have all TLC's cd's but 3-D and Fanmail was just average to me. I would listen to TLC on wax but would never pay to see them live. I would pay to see EnVogue live however. Don't laugh at my funk
