You have really low standards, and one of the most narrow minds I've ever come across. Really, it wasn't even a decent argument. Just circular logic, like most of your posts have been. Oh please you been eating this shit up like a starving baby on cow tit. I honestly don't know why you keep coming back to MY post if its all just circular logic as you put it. Realize and accept that we don't agree and keep it moving for chrissakes. And lastly, you don't know a thing about my standards or my mind. I wonder if you have either (standards or a mind).

It's because I'm trying to get you to realize that you're talking in circles and making no sense. Also, that you're ignoring that homophobia is even present, defending other artists for the objectification of women, and ignoring the fact that it's ok for men to run around half naked but not for women to. let us enjoy ourselves, this rhythm is ill. i want to sit on your penis

For once and for all get it through your noggin...puhleese!!!! I have said and continue to say that homophobia is not the problem in hip hop that Lady Gaga tries to make it out to be. MISOGYNY is the big and overwhelming problem in hip hop!! Period!!!! And as another orger pointed out and I hinted on....its' all just a gimmick to her anyway. She's a poser in more ways than one. What you are trying to do , ineffectively so, is make hip hop out to be this musical purveyor of homophobia. What did you do? You came up with one very weak example and one very weak comment by Weazy of all people. He is not even the symbol of hip hop but you wouldn't know that because you obviously don't listen to the music which is why you are ignorant to the fact that misogyny is the main problem and as someone else pointed out, followed by glorification of money and drugs and lack of creative lyrics and messages. And what other misogynistic artist am I making a defense for? Where have I given an artist the okay to dog women? And what does a man running around half naked have to do with this thread? I'm not talking in circles....you are just to slow for my flow. Either that or you are high on some prescription shit.

there are countless songs dedicated towards "bitches and hoes" and people want to get riled up over homophobia in hiphop
i cant think of any songs that are made solely with the purpose of gay bashing. aside from a few lines here and there it really isnt that big of a problem. i think its laughable that anyone could find "no homo" to be so offensive. Lady Gaga chose to address that issue simply because she is pushing an overtly sexual image herself and it would be hypocritical to critique the objectification of women in hiphop. You're so glam, every time I see you I wanna slam!

I can agree with this post and therefore I won't look to gaga to do anything about misogyny in hip hop or in the music industry period. In fact, I won't look to her to do anything other than what she's been doing....recycling images of pop idols past. But I won't totally dismiss her...she has a lovely singing voice. That's it!

I'm not talking in circles....you are just to slow for my flow. Either that or you are high on some prescription shit. 1. Men don't get pissy and claim objectification of their gender when they see Fifty Cent on MTV half naked. Nor do they do it when they see Malcolm McDowell's penis in A Clockwork Orange. Or when they see whoever's in the newest issue of Playgirl. You said that it's okay if Fifty Cent does it, because he's hot, and most dudes in porn are ugly, so it's okay. But yet it's not okay if a woman's comfortable with her body. That's nice, dear. 2. You've said that homophobia basically doesn't exist in hip hop OR music in general. It does, and I can prove it, PROVIDING I can slog through the retardation that makes up 100% of the hip hop being forced down the general public's throat. You can't argue with the facts, dear. 3. You claim misogyny, and yet you can't tell me WHERE it's wrong for a woman to be comfortable enough with her body to show it off. That's nice dear. And it's better to be on prescription shit than to believe that I've got some sort of flow that no one can keep up with. You apparently do, dear. let us enjoy ourselves, this rhythm is ill. i want to sit on your penis

i really cant stand her voice
that whole techno-ish dance vibe doesnt really do it for me either. but as you said i wont totally dismiss her. she plays an instrument unlike most pop singers these days and that deserves some credit. You're so glam, every time I see you I wanna slam!

She's got to have something going for her, besides just blind followers. I know I'm not a blind little monster. let us enjoy ourselves, this rhythm is ill. i want to sit on your penis

And it's better to be on prescription shit than to believe that I've got some sort of flow that no one can keep up with. You apparently do, dear. Yep, I do believe you are medicated. Thanks for clarifying. Who cares what men gay or straight think about 50 Cent being half naked? Who the hell is Malcom McDowell? So you are a gay man and you have no problem with the objectification of men - okayeeee. But surely you realize that men are not objectified in the same way. The same naked Fiddy Cent that you see is also the one rapping about shorties shakin it on him and how they should have a baby by him and become a millionaire. He's part of a music culture that thinks women are disposable and that their value lies in the sum of their physical parts. You don't see this attitude toward men in hip hop because men control hip hop. For you to suggest that because their are semi naked men on stage (again you're talking about 50 Cent being topless) therefore I as a straight woman should not be offended at misogyny in hip hop music is just a bunch of tard bullshit. I never said homophobia doesn't exist in hip hop, I said and I will say it again since you apparently have some sort of learning disability....it doesn't exist to the degree that lady gaga is suggesting. If she needed to speak up on what's wrong with hip hop she should have spoken up on misogyny in detail. She didn't because it doesn't benefit her to do so. I don't care what a woman chooses to do on her own and of her own free will absent any influence by men but last time I checked, none of these rappers and hip hop artists asked my permission to degrade my sex and I seriously doubt most women would agree to men objectifying them in general and calling them bitches and hoes. What goes on in everyday life versus what's promoted in music are entirely different things. You got your issues mixed up in a big muhfuggin way! So you can slog through 100% of hip hop to provide proof that as a music form it is inherently homophobic and being forced down the general public's throat? Well by all means slog away. I really wanna see this now. It will either take you 5 minutes to find little or nothing...or you will never provide this proof of which you seem so passionate about. Countdown starts now!!!!!

Mariah ota ass did yeah, but it's a really specific chart they're talking about. people keep making mistakes in articles and stuff and saying she's the first person in history to do that, but she's just the first person to have four number one songs from a debut album on the Billboard Pop Songs chart (redundant chart, isn't it? ), which i guess started in 1992. so basically no one's done that in the last 17 years. to those conversing in this thread, my apologies for going off topic momentarily. But. She's. Lady. Gaga.
Few things boost credibility among a wide swath of mainstream demographics like calling a certain demographic dysfunctional. Expect more of the same in the new year.
