Hahaaa!!! Funny thing, taste.

I'm a big Beatles fan and think Revolver is their greatest work!
MJ, Dangerous?

If these are the worst albums in your catalogue's I'd be tempted to speculate that your collection must be 2-3 cd's deep at best! The worst????!!!

Remarkable!

I like Imani Coppola, but something about it wasn't clicking. Think it was the lyrics, which I may have found clever when I was younger.

Glad I only bought the single.

I would really have to think about mine. I usually get rid of stuff I don't like but I can't think of anything that was just terrible!

Its funny looking at some of the picks that you guys have made, i think for the most part, your WORST albums come from "talented" artists, so i think that its hard to say that someone with talent did something so horrific that you would call it the worst piece of shit ever.....NOW THIS on the other hand, i spent my allowance on when it came out..

So when i hear people cry about "i wasted 10 bucks on this crap" i say screw you, i saved two allowances for this shit, had no job back then stop bitching, too much crying these days, too many excuses.

The VENGABOYS albums were quite horrendous, 2 of them, we like to party (1999) and The Millenium album (2000). Both were just the 2 or 3 singles cobbled together with a lot of bad filler, mostly synthesiser workouts, they became wind chimes very quickly.
So what are u going 2 do? R u just gonna sit there and watch? I'm not gonna stop until the war is over. Its gonna take a long time

Mine are

1. The Happy Chipmunks sing Michael's Jacksons greatest hits - 1984. Hideous soundalike of a soundalike. These are an imitation of Alvin and the Chipmunks (I think). Amateurish singing of Thriller and OTW hits. The best thing about this album is it was only 10 songs long. Sounds like hedgehogs being thrown on a fire alive.

My worst was the Groove Theory cd. I loved the song "Tell Me" but hated the rest of the album. I was so upset that I took it back to the store for a refund.

You're correct. Outside of Tell Me i thought the album was crap too.
Glad i didn't purchase it.

Damn you peple are rough. To the person who listed "Once Again" by John Legend, you don't know torture until you've heard that album for two months straight. Elevator music at its dullest. 'Memoirs' by Mariah was okay compared to "E=MC2". In fact, this album sounds dope if that's all we can grade it against.

The worst album I've ever bought would probably be the last album by David Banner or Laugh Now, Cry Later by Ice Cube. David Banner lied. Nas and Cube said they were going to be semi political and so did he. But it turned out to be ass shaking material. Ice Cube just really ckufed up my collection with 'Laugh Now'. (Speak of the devil, just played a song on my ipod.) I only keep the album because it's the special edition. This album is horrible. He's my favorite MC, but I'll tell anyone this is worst album. Wait, Underground Atlanta was terrible. Killer Mike put together a collection of rappers that I can't ckufing stand. As an effort to support HIM I had to support rap bastards like Soulja Boy and Gucci Mane. A few more Biggie's greatest hits. 400 Degrees by Juvenile (poorly mastered, sounds like it was done in a bathroon.) Yep, I just don't get down with these choices.

Oh, and ANYTHING EDITED.

Peace, Hip Hop & Purple Rain

Glad I only payed $5 for it at Wal-mart, which was really $5 too much to be honest.

That 'Darth Vader' voice over makes me hate the album and the rest of it really isn't all that amazing either. Not to mention all the preaching. If I wanted to hear a sermon, I could go to church for free instead of spending $20 on this album.

I don't think I've listened to this album since I bought it.

This is the worst Janet album for me. It's filled with soo much filler and doesn't flow well at all.

disbelief No...just no.

Just doesn't flow well for me.

Honestly, I've stopped buying albums and just started to rent them from the library to avoid wasting money on a terrible album. Library is totally free so if the album sucks, I can just take it back without any hassle.

Recent albums that I've rented from the library that I think are awful are:

Lady Gaga 'The Fame' - I went into listening like I do with every album despite what I think of the artist and I really don't see what the big deal is at all. Found it to be boring and extremely uninnovative, but that's just me.

Beyonce 'I am Sasha Fierce - Nothing amazing about this album except for 'Halo' really. Her albums get worse and worse as time goes by because I actually really loved her first album.

eek at the Vault album. I love that album. One of my all time Prince favourites. Songs like 5 Women, Spoke To Me, Extraordinary, There Is Lonely...I love it.
"When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really donĀ“t like the idea that he could have it all."

I love this guy, but this is truly awful, and with two of the worst Prince covers of all time ("U Got the Look" on the original album and "1999" as a bonus track). Some camp/weirdness appeal, though.

That was the last Valor album I bought so I haven't heard anything worse although the fact that he has sunk to greater depths doesn't surprise me.

Once Gitane left the band I lost interest.

Who are those guys, were they some Germanic, American sounding people with one hit that was ok and the rest was filler. Reminds me of bad 90s Germo/American acts like La Bouche, Papa Bear and some crap group called Milli Vanilli, whose songs were really sung by an American called Charles Shaw, the reason they didn't put him on the cover was because he looked like a mix of Philip Banks and Carl Winslow if you get what I mean

Like I said before, the rest of the album wasn't bad. However, "Tell Me" is excellent.

What's the story here? You bought it for "Back To Life" and didn't like the rest?

I must confess Mr. Sewell, I was also surprised to see Soul II Soul's album on your list. Not only is it the most popular Soul II Soul album, I thought it would be suiting to your tastes, so I guess I'm still getting to know you.

May I pick a worse album from the list you provided here: http://prince.org/msg/8/322851
