What is the worst album(s) you have ever bought

Its time to choose the worst albums you have ever purchased. Choose 1 or 100, and you can choose Prince (So Ernie, if you want to put the Rainbow Children up go for it)

Mine are

1. The Happy Chipmunks sing Michael's Jacksons greatest hits - 1984. Hideous soundalike of a soundalike. These are an imitation of Alvin and the Chipmunks (I think). Amateurish singing of Thriller and OTW hits. The best thing about this album is it was only 10 songs long. Sounds like hedgehogs being thrown on a fire alive.
2. The Id - Macy Gray - 2001. Very disappointing drug fuelled follow up to her 1st great album. Too hip hoppy and not enough torch like soul that there was on "How life is"
3. The Rainbow Children - Prince - 2001. His weakest release of a sung album (I didn't buy or count Kamasutra). Weak songs, contrived music and repellent lyrical content.
So what are u going 2 do? R u just gonna sit there and watch? I'm not gonna stop until the war is over. Its gonna take a long time

falloff

My worst was the Groove Theory cd. I loved the song "Tell Me" but hated the rest of the album. I was so upset that I took it back to the store for a refund.

i thought I was slick.

went to the cd store. Saw TEMPTATIONS Greatest Hits. on sale for 5 bucks. had like 15-20 of my favorite songs.
took it home. forgot to read the small print. turns out it was ANOTHER group singing the temptations songs...yes...it was a 5 HORSEMEN situation.

second worse was JACKSON FIVE: PREHISTORY....it was trash. turned around on the bus. missed the last bus home. returned it. called my mom to pick me up from the cd store cuz i refused to take that cd home wit me. It sounded like CRAP and it turns out a handful of those songs aren't the jackson 5 at all apparently. eek

^^ eek You didn't even like "Ride"?

I like Imani Coppola, but something about it wasn't clicking. Think it was the lyrics, which I may have found clever when I was younger.

Wyclef, "Ecleftic". I have NO IDEA what came over me, when I brought that CD, I guess I wanted to support him. It is now used as a wind chime....

I don't know about it being the worst ever album I bought but Kill Uncle by MORRISSEY ended my almost 10 year obsession with the man & his music in an instant.

Nsync is my guilty pleasure. Love 'em. I liked Celebrity, but No Strings Attached was a bit stronger of an album (and loved that Lisa Lopes was on it too).

considering that you know what he is truly capable of, you must keep in mind NPS and Rave when you make such proclamations lol

NONSENSE

Many Hip Hop/Rap CDs I've purchased could be considered the worst. Hip Hop mostly sucks. There's are only a few really talented Rappers to ever hold the mic. The rest are shit.

Really? "Tell Me" is definitely the best track, but I quite enjoyed the follow-up single, "Keep Tryin'":

That was the BEST Prince album from this decade IMO.

Didn't take offence to him parading his beliefs in that albums either,,,,,the production was TOP NOTCH though, that was as good as he got so far in the millenium.

As for the worst album...

That doesn't make sense. So every other artist on every other album you've ever bought reached their full potential?
You know this how?
How do you know what Prince is truly capable of? Is that different from appeasing your tastes?
I don't want you to think like me. I just want you to think.
