According to Rolling Stone and Phish's site, Purple Rain is still in the running as an album that Phish may cover tomorrow night at their Phish Festival 8's 7:30(Pacific) set. Rumours are suggesting that Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings are going to show up and Phish will actually end up doing Off The Wall for their Halloween set, or even Exile on Mainstreet.

I cannot help but pray for Purple Rain, and even a guest appearance by Prince himself. I have always wanted to see Phish guitarist Trey Anastasio and Prince go head-to-head on stage. They are the 2 top guitarists ON THE PLANET!
