Thats exactly what I think. Her two most boring uninspired albums.

My second favourite album of hers, after Like A Prayer.

I've never been keen on the actual 'Bedtime Story' song - it sounds completely out of place.

This is just a beautiful song...

This is my absolute favorite album by her. It was one of the few albums where she actually took chance and combined more that one style to her music. I wish she would have done more of this. With the exception of "Erotica", all of her other releases are just blah, compared to this.

"Inside Of Me" and "Forbidden Love" love the latter is the sexiest song that Madonna has ever recorded.

Either one of those songs should have replaced "Don't Stop" on the album.

Not one of her best efforts, but the good ("Take a Bow," "Forbidden Love," "Human Nature," and especially "Secret") is excellent. It's a damn shame "Your Honesty" didn't make the cut, because it's better than most of the album.

I love every song on the album. I love that it's mellow, low-key, yet still different throughout. I wish "Your Honest" had ended up as a bonus track or something.

One of my favourite Madonna albums as well. After Erotica which I love the most. I really like about half of the album.
"When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really don´t like the idea that he could have it all."

I think half the problem with the album was that it was maybe her least coherent/memorable image through her career. It's sort of leftover Erotica with a baby blue/pink palette and while she looks really strong in the Human Nature video it's kind of completely separate from the rest of the album images and it doesn't seem attached to the Bedtime Stories era. It's mid 90s Madonna rather the Bedtime Stories Madonna. The song Bedtime Story had that incredible video but it didn't work because it was too Bjork. I like the songs, many are quite good but I think she was still being punished post-Sex and this is kind of a hangover from that. Evita let her shake it and then motherhood and Ray of Light showed she'd changed.

Might be my personal all-time Madonna favorite. It definitely is for her 90s output.

I like the album a lot, but I like it best for some of the best standouts of her career. I loooove Secret, and I think her music videos, especially Bedtime Story and Human Nature are VERY iconic for her and for it's time.

I remember a lot of people loving Take a Bow and having the album. I know it recently got certified at triple platinum in the US, but I have a feeling it was a bigger hit in Canada than the US.

One of my all time M songs.. although haven't found the "Back and Forth" sample/interpolation used. I know it's there somewhere, but just can't seem to hear it.

I remember thinking the first time I heard secret that she'd released her first dud of a single.

But compared to the crap out today, it sounds pretty classy!

This really should have been a single, but I guess they didn't wanna release two Babyface collaborations, even though "Take A Bow" became her biggest hit single.

She's done several songs about missing her mother, but I think this one is the best. It's so heartfelt and honest.

1994, wow it still sounds extremely fresh.
Human Nature, Take A Bow And Bedtime Stories, the videos and the songs have stood the test of time, she has done a fantastic job keeping her music, videos and image fresh.
I have never been a Madonna fan but have been a fan of her marketing and production savvy.

This stuff is 15 years old and you wouldn’t be able to tell if it was released tomorrow, not even the videos look dated.

Its either a testament to Madonna, or a music industry that has not grown or changed or came up with anything new in 15 years.
