You see this is where i have no clue where people can draw the lines, i mean we arent talking the difference between Led Zeppelin and Duran Duran. I mean its all interchangeable its really just who is sexier to you, who has the better package overall, and who brings on the catchier producer, thats it. I mean to get into debates over Rihanna and Ciara and others i mean really???

I was surprised to hear she was putting out new material. It seemed she was dead-set on street modeling for a living.

I do not like the promo pic at all. The blond is yuck. I like the song, however. It's funny, but for some reason I always thought of her doing a song like Bjork's "Bachelorette," and this has that same vibe. Both songs have that movie soundtrack vibe. This is bolder material than her previous stuff and it suits her. She is connecting better here and her vocals seem stronger. That "pop" of the gun at the end is weak, however. It sounds like a firecracker. It should have had more bass to have the impact she was looking for, I think.

As the anticipation grows, Ne-Yo recently told MTV News that fans should prepare themselves. "I've heard a good majority of the album ... world, get ready," he said. "That's all I'm going to say: World, get ready."

(snipped)

"The best and safest way I can say this is that Rihanna has some stuff to say and she's going to say it," he continued, "and she ain't going to make no apologies for it."

This should be interesting.

The first verse made the hair on the back of my neck stand up-BUT-the chorus sucks and drags the song down. HOWEVER, Rihanna continues to carve out her own space in the pop music world and like her or not, old girl takes chances and continues to push it. She has that X factor.

yeah, true.....i guess it is all unflavored gelatin in the end but let's hope there is more talent like Lady Gaga around the corner because nobody compares to her right about now

She looks like she got caught in the barbwire fence trying to escape from Chris Brown's house.

The song is a big ol' plate of blah.

so i cant give cred to say Gwen Stefani when i can get the same thing from Ashley Tisdale or Brooke Hogan as far as sound, vocals, and music.

But Gwen writes a good amount of her music, she even wrote the song "Simple Kind Of Life" all by herself and it's one of No Doubt's best. She is very much involved in what she puts out, unlike Rihanna. btw I do like her new single, but I was expected a party Jam. anyway Odd choice of first single.

I agree. I'm not a fan of Rihanna's at all. I think she's bland and her "shock value" is so manufactured. But she does have A LOT of young fans. Actually, I think her whole fan base consists of pre-teens so this song is just very inappropriate confused Especially, for a single.

It's got good production like 95% of music nowadays. That's why most music is even remotely listenable anymore. Has little to do with the artist and more to do with the production. Just my twocents

Tacky and not the list bit interesting to me. She's just using her body to sell records and that means to me that she knows in her heart that she will never stand the test of time.

Really? I knew about Beyonce, Miley Cyrus, Jonas Bros etc., and most recently Sara Bareilles, but I never knew they were Rihanna fans.

Well, if this CD is called "Rated R" like it's been reported, that should be enough of a clue for parents to keep the kids away. Given what she's been in the news for, I understand why people would be turned off, saddened or offended by such dark imagery/material.

I read her video will premiere on ABC. ABC what? News? Morning show? Is she going to do a real interview?

I'm a female so why would selling her body work on me?

That arguments very weak and kinda proved you didn't listen to the song at all, just looked at the picture.

-----

OT, I'm surprised she released this, considering the subject matter and how sensitive everyone is these days.

Of course I didn't listen to the song. Why would I? Her music doesn't interest me at all. She's not very talented and if it wasn't for Jay-Z she would be nowhere and if it wasn't for her recent situation with CB, she would really be nowhere.

Having said that, I'm sick to death of these women who sell records based on their looks, dress or who they're fucking. Give me real talent anyday.

OH SNAP! Where the hell is Tony? lol

Seems like somebody new got accused of joinining the illuminati clique wacky

Read this article...

Written by Necole Bitchie under Bitchie Chicks, Celebrities

Singer Tiffany Evans (best known for her stint on Star Search & single Promise Ring ft Ciara) blasted Rihanna’s new single “Russian Roulette” earlier today via twitter. Peep her vent below:

Russian Roulette= Suicidal Rate gon sky rocket!

You gotta watch what u say. Because there are a lot of weak people in the world. They are susceptible to anything so anything you say or do some people actually do listen. So make sure its nothing bad. Its okay to be deep, but not murder deep.

Man! I really wish I could tell you guys what the industry really is and what stars are apart of destroying this world. The stars who worship satan, and those who have killed to get the respect they have now. You’d be verrrry surprise. Some of your favorite people pretend to worship God but they only do that to save face. Or seem innocent.

Satan was head of music in heaven. He uses influential people…to help influence the world. Think about that. Once u make a certain amount of money. Just know that that’s when they ask u to join. To get in you have accept the beast, worship. Once you join they assist u with ur career.make u huge.only if u agree and obey to destroy Gods word.and his children.

Ppl listen and pay attention. Its a war going on right now between Good and Evil. Evil will rule this world for a min. The people that have this power are the people that RULE the whole world. I’m done I won’t say anymore before I get in trouble.

According to MM Highlights, Tiffany’s controversial tweets are centered around the “rumored corruption and brainwashing that goes on behind the scenes of the entertainment industry, often referred to as a group called the Illuminati“.

If you’ve never heard of the Illuminati before, it’s basically a group or organization of powerful people in the industry that brainwash audiences with hidden messages in songs, music video’s, political campaigns etc. Stars such as Kanye West, Jay-Z, Beyonce, Rihanna, and Matthew Knowles have all been accused of being involved, as have various politicians and actors.

Rihanna did not write the lyrics so I think we’d have to inquire with Ne-Yo about this, however Tiffany does have a point in regards to the messages that are sent in today’s music.
