Luther's For You To Love Just looking back and listening to this song-what a nice tune  I never really appreciated the song before, but it is beautiful. The Lyrics are great " I came here for you to love in the pouring rain "  the music is nice too and as always Luther's voice was magical. I need to listening to this one more   Opinions?

This song is okay but I was slightly disapppointed with the 'Any Love' album.It felt like,on this album,Luther was just going through the motions.All of his other 80s albums are classics,but this one is just so-so.The haunting title track is the highlight.
Anyone agree? | |

I don't know about the whole "Any Love" album so I can't comment on that, but "For You To Love" is one of my favorite Luther songs! Absolutely love it...  | |

Definitely NOT one of my favorite Luther albums. It is kind of inconsistent to me. It has good songs, but not crazy about the flow of the album:

I agree,the album is inconsistent.I love the title track and a few other songs,but it's probably his weakest 80s album. | |

I agree,the album is inconsistent.I love the title track and a few other songs,but it's probably his weakest 80s album. Indeed. When I didn't think it could get any worse, he released "Never Let Me Go" and "Songs" in the 90s. 
I'd take "Any Love" over those 2 any day. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-
