I just cut my HBO off for budget reasons, so I guess I'll be watching the Soul Train Music Awards then.
I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

The Soul Train Awards will also be shown on the "Centric" channel. The Soul train Red Carpet starts at 8:00pm EST on both BET and Centric, and the actual Soul Train Awards starts at 9:00pm on both channels.

Yeah, I re-subscribed just for this show, and will cancel again next week. I do not care for HBO anymore since good programmes like THE WIRE and OZ have been cancelled sad.

For the sake of accuracy, HBO did not cancel The Wire.
According to series writer/producer David Simon, the story was never meant to exceed 5 seasons.

Man, The RRHOF Concert's gonna be the news of the week 2morrrow. Stevie Wonder as usual has already made the highlight reel with genuine tears during his version of Michael Jackson's "The Way You Make Me Feel", and his duet with Sting on "Higher Ground".

Aretha's voice is cracked...truly gone. Stevie was good, it's a little sad though to see some of these fossils from rock still acting like they're in their twenties. I.E. Jeff Beck dressing like he just came out with Blow by Blow or Rolling Stones still getting no satisfaction.

Soul train Awards is missing something....soul
Did Prince ever deny he had sex with his sister? I believe not. So there U have it..

Well there is some soul still there. Charlie Wilson's voice is still strong, he can sing just as good he could 20-25 years ago....and other talents like Raheem DeVaughn, Chrisette Michelle, Brian McKnight, Bootsy Collins and Chico Debarge are there still keeping the soul alive. You can't say that ALL soul has left the industry.
