Haven't u figured it out....Centric is the BET network that is going to run ST like it's new.

dang...they can't even separate it and use BET for news, award shows, talk shows, sports, reality TV and then use CENTRIC for movies, music videos, and defunct soap operas? SMH @ them mofos.

I wish they'd put the Soul Train episodes on BOTH networks pout

Looking at the full show, there was far less coonery on there. If BET had it by themselves and more of those idiotic "rappers" were on it? lol It would've been a farce so ST had SOME dignity last night.

I posted on Facebook that the entire show looked like a High School play in a high school auditorium.

So there is a split among the orgers as to whether
the show was good or bad. Interesting. I've yet
to watch all of it.

But I almost sho' Soul Train has honored Chaka before. If I recall, TLC was apart of the tribute? I'm not sure. I don't have a problem with it... if the want to, they can give sista girl an award every year. biggrin

Memory jarred. I tell you who hosted the Soul Train Awards that year Chaka was honored, Luther Vandross. I remember cuz I told my mommma. I knew my ass was getting old when the only people I recognized was Mr. Vandross, Ms. Knight, and Sista Franklin. When they gave her the award they played "I Know You, I Live You" as she walked to the stage.

Don't ask me why this is picken with my nerve. lol
