Kudos to Pitchfork for actually picking albums we've actually heard of for their top 10
But I still say Neon Bible's better than Funeral

This is a good list! I'm glad but also surprised to see Avalanches still so high on their lists, but at least that entry is consistant. Love KID A!!!!

I was following the list as it developed, and I was disappointed with the order of their top 20. Sound of Silver definitely belongs in the top 5. Franz Ferdinand's debut was shockingly low at number 101.
That said, I'm happy that these were included: 188. M83- Dead Cities, Red Seas & Lost Ghosts 167. Annie- Anniemal 124. PJ Harvey- Stories from the City, Stories from the Sea 113. LCD Soundsystem- LCD Soundsystem 107. Justice- Cross 92. Björk- Vespertine 77. Missy Elliott- Miss E... So Addictive 67. The Flaming Lips- Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots 24. Yeah Yeah Yeahs- Fever to Tell That said, Timbertwat has no place on a list of good music, much less ahed of Vespertine. I also think Anniemal should swap places with Robyn. Overall, it's a decent list, but I think the songs list was better. Feel free to join in the Prince Album Poll 2018! Let'a celebrate his legacy by counting down the most beloved Prince albums, as decided by you!

I'm still boggled by the praise for this band:
15. The Knife Silent Shout They're cute enough, like a good 80s cover band, but really??!

I can’t wait to see the much better list in a decade or two.
At first glance this list reminds me of people that come onto to the Jimmy Fallon show throwing props out to The Roots. Most of them I'm guessing don’t know shit about The Roots, but they know it’ll make them appear cool. I’d love to see more real independence from critics, not just people writing for their own peer group acceptance. But I've always been a bit of a dreamer. Anyway, despite its many dysfunctions, I very much appreciate the list and there is a plenty of knowledge to be gleaned and new territories to explore.
