Well he got hurt the night before and that's last minute to go changing shit on any live tv show. I don't care if he's lipsynching or not we KNOW he can sing and he STILL turned that bitch out.

Hell yeah! I remember watching this when it originally aired and saying, "Get It Michael, GET IT!!!"...yes, I was screaming this at the TV I was obsessed with 'Remember the Time'. It's still in my Top 5 favorite MJ songs of all time and I'm irritated that it wasn't included in the MJ Top 10 Countdown that was aired yesterday on MTV. Prince Rogers Nelson

Me too. Fatima Robinson KILLED this choreography and I think it was her first real job as a choreographer. Could you imagine this being your first job, with MJ???

What's killin' me is the look on his face like: "Now, ya'll KNOW if I could get outta this chair I'd REALLY fuck ya'll up. Really! But I'ma still jam in this chair."

Wow - I've never seen this before! (Or don't remember it, at least). I absolutely LOVE this track and this arrangement. Superb!! And the 'Go Michael! Go Michael!' bit... What amazing stage presence, even just sitting on a chair.

This is my mom's favorite MJ performance "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world."

This is my mom's favorite MJ performance I almost posted the video of MJ in Brett Ratner's car dancing to Ignition, but I didn't want your head to explode.

Someone, please, explain to me why this is such a brilliant song??!
After all these years, I still think it's amazing - yet so deceptively simple. There's not much there, or so it seems, but it is just BRILLIANT. I can't work out what makes it is so good. It's like nothing else in his catalogue. I love it!!

And just a miscellaneous comment: I love it when Michael ticks.

I'm already a huge fan of Egyptology so the lyrics, music, vocals, and imagery combine perfectly to definitely put this song in my top 3 fave MJ songs and videos.

That was the most disappointing MJ performance to me. Sitting in a chair AND lipsynching?

I don't get what the big deal is about him lipsynching since that was the plan if he danced. He got hurt in the last rehearsal for the show so there's no way the producers woulda been able to let him sing live unrehearsed as there are too many technical adjustments that would need to be made. Live tv just doesn't work that way and is not that flexible.

There's actually a LOT more to it than that for a show that's being broadcast and the key is that there would not have been a chance to rehearse to iron out the technical issues. But, whatevs.
