(it will go here, I'm guessing) [Edited 8/2/09 22:42pm] It's the Immaculate Collection edit that has the What Are You Looking At intro of Vogue it does indeed, however, it's not an edit. it's actually extended from the album version (and also remixed in q-sound) by dragging out the opening a little longer and i think adding an extra repeat of the breakdown toward the end. the single version starts right in with the beat and the "what are you lookin' at". it's on the maxi-single. | |

 I can't believe you haven't made any sets in years.  Madonna needs to take note of this shit ASAP and hire you.

Okay...so between the press release,the lyric sheet on Madonna.com,and the official teaser ad,it looks like these tracks are pretty much confirmed:
Everybody Holiday Lucky Star Like A Virgin Material Girl Into The Groove Live To Tell Papa Don't Preach Open Your Heart Who's That Girl Like A Prayer Express Yourself Cherish Vogue Justify My Love Secret Take A Bow You Must Love Me Frozen Ray Of Light Beautiful Stranger Music Don't Tell Me Die Another Day Hung Up 4 Minutes Miles Away Celebration Revolver That's 29 of the 36 tracks that will be included (or is it 40?) 
As for the remaining tracks,I think that these songs are likely to be included: "Borderline","Dress You Up","La Isla Bonita","Keep It Together" (okay,this is wishful thinking on my part,lol),"Human Nature" (she performed it on two of her last four tours,so it's clearly one of her personal favs),"American Life" (or she may go with "Hollywood"),and "Sorry" (which was actually a decent-sized hit outside of America). But don't we see snippets of the "Get Together" video in the trailer for "Celebration"? Hurry and release the friggin tracklist!

This maintains a sense of chronology to it, and makes CD1 the sort of ultimate greatest hits disc, and CD2 more interesting and varied. Id say the only songs you could add to it are "lucky Star" "Open Your Heart" "Rain" "You'll See" "Drowned World". Of the ones included Id say Everybody and Human Nature should make way for Open Your Heart & Drowned World. That said Everybody was her first single.....its damn difficult. The outtakes are fantastic - Dear Father, the original Goodbye to Innocence, the original Thief of hearts. She was really prolific duing this period (for her anyway), and its an era that in hindsight was a lot stronger and full of quality than she was given credit for at the time. I demand the FULL version of Deeper & Deeper be on this greatest hits - not the crappy fade edit that was on GHV2.
