anyway, watching that Planet Groove interview from back in the day, alot of the things she talked about happens to people everyday The part where she talked about the teacher making fun of her and making her feel so small and so stupid is something I can relate too because it happened to me growing up One small comment can really affect a child and it may not affect one kid so much, but another, it could stick to them for years and years... My kindergarten teacher told my mother I was "special".  All because I was too busy reading shit and being quiet. It didn't depress me but I was fucking confused at her. My mom just about cursed her out when she told her that she wanted to send me to a special class. Also she had me going to this "doctor" to check on me and shit. One thing I know is I'm glad that I got through the rest of my school years without much of a problem! She got fired the year I left kindergarten I believe. She was the one teacher I hated. | |
