Can you spot Michael and his brothers? I can't believe Michael use to be part of this scene. I mean look at all those dreads & fros, you can't get more natural than that

LOL! I spotted him right away! My eyes were immediately drawn to him, he's so cute. Weird pic though...him hanging with rastas.

I don't think it's weird, he & his brothers fitted in well with the whole scene. It's just that if you think of how MJ is now you can't imagine him hanging out with Bob & the crew, he just wouldn't fit in anymore.

It Never Ends! More Legal Dramz Surrounding Jacko's Comeback Shows

The promoters who were trying to put a stop to Jacko's upcoming residency at London's O2 Arena aren't giving up!

Way back in November 2008 (ancient history!), Jackson signed a deal promising to appear in a Jackson family one-off concert and abstain from making any other concert deals for 18 months.

First, the promoters attempted to order a cease and desist of Jackson's upcoming concerts, but now AllGood Entertainment is suing the Gloved One for a minimum of $20 million in damages for breaking his contract!!!

AllGood claims Jackson and his management "secretly teamed up with [residency promoter] AEG" and all parties were "well aware" the original contract was being broken.

Michael has stated that he still plans to appear in the reunion on July 3rd, 2010 and refuses to stop rehearsing for his upcoming 50 shows at the O2 arena.

Jacko's band of lawyers better fix the dramz fast, considering Michael's first comeback show is slated for July!!

Do U think the shows will go on???

A music promoter has filed a lawsuit to halt Michael Jackson's performances at the London 02 Arena this summer.

AllGood Entertainment claims that the King Of Pop must first perform in the US under a contract he signed with the New Jersey-based promoters before embarking on his 50-night stint at the 02 Arena, which is set to begin in July.

The company filed suit in federal court in New York and named as defendants AEG Live, with whom Jackson signed a contract for the London shows, as well as Jackson's production company and his manager Frank DiLeo, reports Reuters.

The suit alleges breach of contract, fraud and tortious interference with a contract. It seeks at least $20 million in compensatory damages and at least $20 million in punitive damages.

Meanwhile, Jackson criticised his London O2 Arena gig bookers, saying he thought he only signed up to play 10 shows - not the 50 he is scheduled for - at the venue, as previously reported.

Promoter sues to stop Jackson comeback

Promoter sues to stop Jackson comeback

WENN

Concert promoter AllGood Entertainment has filed a lawsuit to put a halt to Michael Jackson's comeback shows next month, according to reports.

The company, who earlier this year reportedly issued a cease and desist order against Jackson's 50-date O2 arena residency, claims that the singer is under contract with them for a Jackson 5 reunion tour, E! reports.

Under the alleged agreement, Jackson would not be allowed to perform the planned London shows until at least three months after a family band reformation in 2010.

In addition to attempting to prevent the concerts from taking place, the promoter is seeking $20 million in damages from the star, as well as his manager and AEG - the force behind the upcoming gigs.

"This is a case where the little guy followed the rules and was pushed aside by industry giants AEG and the Jacksons for the promise of bigger money and movies," AllGood said in a statement.

750,000 tickets have been sold for the residency, which is scheduled to start on July 13.

Last week, the 'Thriller' singer was reported to have told fans that he is not happy to have been booked to play the 50 dates.

Michael Jackson's O2 rehearsals

Michael Jackson has thrown his comeback in to chaos with bizarre demands for his child choir.

In emails seen by the Mirror, the singer wants every youngster able to do sign language.

The weird request was sent to casting agents on behalf of promoters AEG Live, who are behind the 50 dates at London’s O2 Arena.

Jacko, 50, also wants the child singers to be made up of “exactly equal” numbers of black, white, mixed-race and Asian children.

And, even weirder, Jacko is also after six marching snare drummers who are banned from having beards. The wacky email insists the drummers must be “young adults, clean-cut and of mixed ethnicity”.

It adds: “They must be real drummers so please do not waste our time suggesting people who are not.”

The child choir must be made up of kids ranging from five to 13.

Auditions are next week in London and the children are being paid for their time. The email states: “No past professional experience is necessary...due to children’s work permit laws we will cast more than one choir.”

But a source close to the promoters told the Mirror the demands have caused a “logistical nightmare”.

An insider said: “Normally when we cast choirs for acts, it’s quite a laborious task.

“But in this case, it’s proving a near impossibility. Jacko is a perfectionist and wants it exactly right and that means every child being able to do sign language.

“AEG are desperate to keep Jacko happy and so are pulling out all the stops to make it happen. But it’s a race against time.”

But over in Los Angeles, the singer’s rehearsals said to be going well.

Jackson sued over reunion concert
Michael Jackson

A promoter is suing Michael Jackson for $40m (£24.4m) for allegedly breaching a contract to play a reunion concert in the US with other family members.

Allgood Entertainment claims it made a deal in November with Jackson's then-manager to produce the gig this summer.

It says the deal called for Jackson not to perform elsewhere before the event or for at least three months after it.

He will play 50 dates at London's O2 arena from July. Promoter AEG will not comment while Jackson was unavailable.

Allgood say the concert would have involved the singer, sister Janet, and the other members of The Jackson 5 - Marlon, Jackie, Tito and Jermaine.

Compensation hope

In legal papers filed in Manhattan, Allgood accuse the singer and manager Frank DiLeo of breaking the contract by signing up to do the O2 shows.

We've given Michael Jackson and AEG every opportunity, publicly and privately, to resolve this matter and to date we have not heard from anyone
Patrick Allocco
Allgood Entertainment

AEG is also named in the papers.

The papers add that AEG knew of the agreement between AllGood, DiLeo and Jackson, "but due to their dominance and power in the live performance industry, coerced and/or induced DiLeo and Jackson to disregard the agreements with AllGood and to work with it instead".

"We've given Michael Jackson and AEG every opportunity, publicly and privately, to resolve this matter and to date we have not heard from anyone," said Patrick Allocco, a managing partner for Allgood.

Allgood's lawyer Ira Meyerowitz said the company was not looking to stop Jackson from performing at the O2.

"What we're looking for is for our clients to be involved in the London concerts or be compensated for agreements they entered into," he said.

A spokesman for AEG said the company would not comment on pending litigation.

That's BAD! Michael Jackson's mangled ear shows the impact of repeated plastic surgery

The shocking damage caused to Michael Jackson's ear by repeated plastic surgery has been revealed.

Jackson's long hair normally hides the organ from view. But all was revealed as he left a medical clinic in California yesterday, where he has been receiving treatment for skin cancer.

The left ear looked as though the outer ring had been removed. It is thought cartilage has been repeatedly taken from the 50-year-old's ear to rebuild his nose, which was damaged during extensive surgery.
Michael Jackson's damaged ear is on show as he and son Prince Michael Jackson II, also known as Blanket, leave a medical building in Beverly Hills after receiving treatment for skin cancer

Damage: A close-up of the ear

A similar procedure is available on the NHS, usually to correct damage caused during accidents.

Yesterday a music promoter sued Jackson to stop him from performing in London this year, claiming his appearances would violate a prior contract.

New Jersey-based AllGood Entertainment Inc claims it signed a deal with the singer's manager, Frank DiLeo, in November committing him to an appearance in the U.S. this summer.

Under the agreement, Jackson is not supposed to give another concert before that show, the lawsuit states.

Jackson has signed with AEG Live to play 50 shows at London's O2 Arena starting in July.

AllGood Entertainment contends those shows violate the New Jersey company's agreement with DiLeo, which it says predates the singer's deal with AEG Live.

Representatives for Jackson and AEG Live were not immediately available to comment.

Before the corrective surgery: Jackson's ear on show in Cannes in 1997

AEG Live, which is named in the lawsuit, has previously called AllGood Entertainment's claims 'meaningless'.

Jackson has been rehearsing in the Los Angeles area for the London shows.

AllGood Entertainment contends in its lawsuit its agreement with DiLeo also left the door open for Jackson to perform with other members of his show business family, which includes his brothers from the Jackson Five and sister Janet Jackson.

The company's lawsuit alleges breach of contract, fraud and tortious interference with a contract. It seeks at least $20 million in compensatory damages and at least $20 million in punitive damages.

It also names as defendants Jackson's production company, as well as DiLeo, his company and AEG Live's parent company AEG, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Anschutz Company.

Jackson's series of London shows have been touted as unprecedented.

AEG Live says that, all together, the shows will gather the biggest audience ever to see an artist in one city.

Jacko Hit With Ridiculous Lawsuit
Wednesday, June 10, 2009
Music / By Roger Friedman

Poor Michael Jackson. Yes, he’s done a lot of weird things and maybe some bad things. But he’s also vulnerable to crazy lawsuits.
The latest comes from a New Jersey concert promoter Patrick Allocco and something called AllGood Productions. Allocco sued Jackson today in New York, along with AEG Live and Jackson’s long ago former manager Frank DiLeo — long ago as in 20 years. Why the suit was filed in New York is a mystery, since none of the parties is here.

Allocco says in his suit that he made a deal with DiLeo for the whole Jackson family — Michael, Janet, Sleepy, Snoopy – to perform at a concert in Texas. He claims that after that, all the defendants conspired together to put on shows in London and knock out his effort. He wants $20 million, of course.
Allocco’s going to have a tough time making his case. He says he met with DiLeo in October 2008, that DiLeo said he represented everyone, guaranteed the show, and that Allocco had an exclusive.

Only one problem: AEG started negotiating with Jackson in 2007. DiLeo wasn’t Jackson’s manager then, and isn’t now technically. He’s never represented the Jackson family, Janet Jackson, or even Reggie Jackson. DiLeo has only been working with Michael recently again and still, I am told, has no formal written agreement with him. Allocco is also claiming Jackson would do a pay-per-view event with him. But from the beginning there was no indication ever that Michael Jackson was going to be on pay-per-view, ever.

The AllGood lawsuit comes with some names in absentia: Joseph Jackson, Michael’s PT Barnum-like father, and Leonard Rowe, a concert promoter with a bad rep. These two characters called this reporter some months ago. Joseph was on the phone, and told me he wanted to get involved in taking over Michael’s AEG shows. “I’m the only one who can do them right,” he said.

At some point, Joseph Jackson and Rowe may have hooked up with Tohme R. Tohme, Michael’s official manager, now fired. A few weeks ago this reporter received an “anonymous” phone call from a man who said he had negative information about another Jackson associate, Arfaq Hussain, whom the caller claimed was now Jackson’s manager. The man said he’d be calling back with more info soon. The caller doesn’t know it, but I know who he is. He wasn’t too bright at masking his voice or his caller ID.

While all the hustlers, gypsies, tramps and thieves sneak around the Jackson saga to see if there’s any money for them, the onetime King of Pop is actually rehearsing his show. Right now, the whole enterprise is being tested at the Forum in Inglewood, California. In the next couple of weeks, when Lakers basketball is over, they move dress rehearsals to the Staples Center. On July 3, they head to London for installation. Like it or not, Michael Jackson is taking the stage at the O2 Arena on July 13th for AEG Live. Frank DiLeo may be back as the official manager. All systems are go so far.

At least he's procuring his playthings before the gigs.

OK, I HAVE A QUESTION ABOUT REPORTING THE TOUR NUMBERS $$$.

WILL BILLBOARD REPORT ALL 50 DATES IN ONE GROUP (THAT'S WHAT THEY USUALLY DO WHEN AN ARTIST PERFORMS AT A SINGLE VENUE) OR SOMETHIN ELSE?

I CAN'T IMAGINE HOW THAT WOULD LOOK. THAT WOULD BE ABSOLUTELY CRAZY.

^It will depend on the promoter. But if I remember well, after a certain amount of time passes, Billboard won't report the numbers. I think it's 6 months at most, probably less.

I don't even think Billboard would technically be able to publish it, after all, it would mean around 1 million tickets, no?

Can you spot Michael and his brothers? I can't believe Michael use to be part of this scene. I mean look at all those dreads & fros, you can't get more natural than that

He still is, you just don't hear about it because they don't report it. I wish I could see more natual people around now adays but i guess everyone wants to be fake now adays.

I really hope this stuff is not true. the thought of a child choir or children on stage in general makes me cringe.
ummm hello, this is a TABLOID. why do you guys believe all this tabloid crap that is posted? Remember the dancers as well as everyone else that is working on the tour are under confidentially agreements. So no one knows what is going go down. They are just specalating and making up rumours.

michael is many things now, but he ain't natural. I mean this guy in this pic depicts how MJ use to fit in so easily with the brothas, now he doesn't even fit in with his own blood brothers.
