I've noticed how some of the Jackson children have stronger genes to either Joe or Katie.

Rebbie, Jackie, Jermaine, Randy and Janet look more like Katie. Tito, La Toya, Marlon and Michael look more like Joe.

Yep, Michael has very strong Joe genes. And Joe also speaks with a high tone like Michael and the other siblings so I guess it's a trait (Katie actually has more tone to her voice than Joe does oddly enough).
