biggrin Nice set!

I know Jerry Hey, Kim Hutchcroft and Larry Williams gained fame as the in-demand "Seawind" Horns, but whatever happened to Pauline Wilson?

Cool album. Bought it about a decade ago on Japanese cd-import. It was later released in the US on cd.

Yep, and drummer Harvey Mason sorta spotted them at an earlier stage. He got them a record deal.
Great stuff about the group can be found at www.seawindjazz.com

Rare footage !

Can't Wait

this formerly unreleased track was shelved from their 1980-album, produced by George Duke. It appears now with a few more of them unreleased
sessions on their compilation "Remember" , released by Noteworthy Records. "Please Say Yes" is another great song from those vaults.

Lovin' You

He Loves You

After Seawind's last album from 1980, Pauline & Bob released a gospel-album around 1981 :

Outsanding tracks imo are "With Love In Your Eyes" and "Lullaby Of Love"

Another interesting project worth to check is an album of Japanese singer Marlene with Seawind, released around 1982 :

Leave to the .org to take me back to an album/group I'd completely forgotten! The 1980 album was the jam (I have it somewhere around here) and used to get played in heavy rotation on the old WJZZ station here in Detroit. Thanks for that memory!
